Thank god for Dr. Kohan!!! I tested positive for Coronavirus and was progressively having more breathing issues and getting worse. I got referred to Dr. Kohan and heard he was the best infectious disease Doctor in Florida. He got me right into the hospital, he told me step by step what his Coronavirus protocol was. He visited me everyday and answered any texts I had while I was in the hospital. His protocol worked perfectly for me, and I feel great. Thanks to Dr. Kohan's protocol and patient education I survived coronavirus . I would highly recommend Dr. Kohan to anyone that needs his help.

I waited in the waiting room 2 hours, then I called in my pharmacy's phone number that day, they did not take care of calling in my script. I called 2 times the nest day, still nothing. I liked the Dr. but the staff all need to be fired. They have not a clue how to run a professional office. if my Dr. did not refer me I would NEVER go back.

Dr. Kohan and the provider group to which he belongs, Infectious Disease Consultants, PA, is a network provider of United Healthcare yet does not accept the contracted rates of the plan. Although the staff seemed nice, they were not helpful or knowledgeable about insurance billing practices. They will not call the insurance provider of which they are in-network to verify covered benefits. Patients of Infectious Disease Consultants, PA, should be prepared to pay full fee, regardless of the contracted service amount. Provider states they will not reimburse the patients for the difference between the amount charged and the contracted amount and will refuse service to patients who are not comfortable with this billing practice.
