BEWARE of this man. He uses charm and charisma to lull his patients into a false sense of security and then drops the gauntlet of misery, pain, lies, and deception upon them and their families. He patients in exam rooms to go out to lunch or whatever else he feels like. He blatantly panders to big pharma and will prescribe needless meds without regard for patient health. He is perverse, unethical, and performs unnecessary procedures.

He performed an unnecessary hysterectomy; which led to problem after problem and now I'm left with interstitial cystitis; an incurable disease which has left me with no bladder lining and in the care of a pain management physician.

His staff only cares about money and will constantly remind you have a "balance" If you even call with an urgent problem.

Avoid at all costs!! You will be sorry.

Had the worst experiance with Dr. Madden. I had to wait a min of 2 hours every appointment and when it came time to deliver, he stayed with me for about 30 min and then left town and I was left with the doctor on call. I went for my post partum check up and was told everything was fine, it wasnt. I had to go back two weeks later just to be told again that everything was fine and now no other OBGYNs in Midland can see me until he sees me AGAIN. I called to book yet another appointment and was told that there isnt ANYTHING available for another FOUR WEEKS. This is a nightmare! I feel very taken advantage of by my doctor.

Delivered both my babies. We just love him! He's a hoot! Now that they are in the new office the patient flow and wait time has greatly improved! Love his nurses and PA's. They really know their stuff. Dr. Madden takes his time with you, never rushed, he's caring, compassionate and he explains everything very well. Would never use anyone else. No matter how crazy busy his office and staff have been they have never messed up on anything.

I moved to midland area from houston after being 6 months pregnant and was very anxious to see a obgyn half way through my pregnancy .. Dr madden came highly recommended and I was lucky to get an appointment with him due to him being so popular. Yes the wait to see him each time can be bad but he truly takes time to explain things and never seems rushed. One of the only doctor that I ve come across who spends a lot of time during each appointment and has excellent bedside manners..

Unless you like waiting hours to be seen, go with another doctor. Staff is great, 3 hour waits not so great.

Dr. Madden is one of the top OB/GYN's in the Permian Basin. He is compassionate, knowledgeable, great listener & proactive. His nurse Loretta is amazing as well!!

I really liked Dr. Madden when I met him. He seemed attentive, thorough and informative. I called his office several months later & they ordered a urine culture which was completed at their own facility. I never heard back from his office. 3 days later, I called his office for the results & neither Dr. Madden nor his nurse were in the office to give me the results or prescribe a med. After I complained to the receptionist, I received help from another doctor in this group practice. I had a raging infection accompanied by a fever that needed quick attention. The second doc, Dr. DeShaun, generously responded & very capably took over my case, which became complicated by one ineffective drug & another that I had an allergic reaction to. I never received an apology or an explanation from Dr. Madden's office. It seems inconceivable to me that Dr. DeShaun didn't share this event with him, tho I don't know whether he did or not.

I have had many issues in the last year and I tend to go back to Dr. Madden because, I trust him. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing an Ob/Gyn.

Waiting can be long, but he takes lots of time with you when you see him & explains things very thoroughly. He is gentle, caring, has a good, is active in the community, very down to earth with a good sense of humor & is usually open to working with you on finding the best treatment for you.
