He was very supportive of the natural birth I wanted. He was comfortable with allowing me to move around during labor, eating or drinking if I wanted, and letting me push in whichever position was best for me. He is very knowledgeable and really cares about his patients. He was in the delivery room with me for 1.5 hrs, the entire time I was pushing.

I Cannot sing Dr Dokes praises enough!!! I saw him for EVERY one of my appointments. He was always open to answer any questions and made sure that I was comfortable with any thing and everything. The nurses at the hospital rave about him and how he is the one that wants to deliver his patients babies---unlike some doctors who will leave it to their on call to do. you can truly tell you are not simply a "file" but a person and he wants to do what is best for YOU in each situation. I never felt rushed or in the dark. He's the first doctor EVER that has made me feel content and completely trusting in their judgement.

Dr Doke is the best Dr ever i had my 1st child with another obgyn and he was horrible having my 2nd with Dr Doke is a big change he takes time to explain everything and is very kind and makes me feel calm and that i am in good hands. Wish i found him the 1st time i got pregnant. I would recommend him to anyone.

He became my doctor when my doctor left Midland Womens Clinic and I was 8-9 wks. pregnant when I had a miscarriage by time I want in the miscarriage was complete and he did an ultra sound and didn't see anything. He acted as if he did not believe I was pregnant I already had taken my test at the health department and had my medicaid, so I knew I was pregnant.He seemed to think everyone must have a DNC after a miscarriage. I had just miscarriage and it wasn't the best feeling to walk out with especially knowing he never even believed I was pregnant.

Takes time to explain everything and answer any questions. He has even taken time to call me personally after a bad test result- something most doctors leave their nurses to do. He has been very kind and understanding of my specific health issues and needs. Highly recommend!

Always made me feel comfortable during my OB appointments and always made me feel like I was #1. Always made extra time for me if I needed it.

Very good bedside manner and spends as much time as needed to address problem. I hear he is an excellent surgeon also.
