I completely agree with the poster who was disappointed with Dr Lie. I found him very condescending and judgmental, with little empathy and understanding for my pain and health problems. I will not go back and see him.

i ended up at him after every option basicaly including one surgery (by another doctor). For surgery i HIGHLY recomend him if you need to be diagnosed with endo.

I was extremely disappointed with Dr. Lie. His bedside manner is poor at best. I found him very judgmental and was not positive about any of the productive steps I was taking to improve my pain relief from endometriosis-pain, both physical and emotional that he will never experience. He had limited resources. I would not recommend him at all.

I dont think that Dr. Lie is Bias at ALL! He and his staff are wonderful, considerate and approach the individual in a HOLISTIC manner as opposed to a 'subject'.His approach has been around in the USA & UK for years and Canada is only now recognizing the importance of addressing the client/patient as whole.Even the Surgical team he takes with him conduct themselves in the same way while remaining absolutely profession.I HIGHLY recommend him on all aspects of fertility, endometriosis and other.I have recommended him to several collegues and friends who all feel the same way about him!

I referred a friend to this doc & refused to perform surgery, insisting on alternative techniques despite that she'd already treid them & failed. While a very knowledgeable doctor, a little biased.

This doctor was wonderful. Very professional with lots of good information for me. Good communicator. Was open to alternative therapies such as diet & Qi Kong which is great for a surgeon. Very realistic and helpful.

Very good surgeon. If you have endometriosis, see him - and see Dr. Robert Casper, gynelogical endocrinologist.
