Dr. Remington's office is a bit of a joke for a Doctors office. The same issue as quite a few people, you never get to see him and if you want to talk about more than one thing because you are there.. nope!! make another appointment. My father is dealing with a pancreatic specialist in Toronto and Hamilton and the Hamilton office sent a message for a drug refill and after a week, I called the office and the HORRIBLE receptionist said "ya, I saw that come through, when was that" and at that point said she would "send Dr. Remington a message".. after a week and after me having to call to ask and push the issue. Laura and Karen are Fantastic. We were told by Dr. Remington that if he was not happy with his service (which is horrible at best) that "there is the door and go find another doctor", now there is a doctor that really cares about his patients, right!?? On another visit, one of his student doctors asked me 10 times if I saw an optometrist and I was wearing prescription glasses during the visit and I said I already did and then he kept telling me to be sure to see an optometrist, really, apparently the not listening to your patients spreads in that office,
I would not ever recommend this doctor or his practice to anyone. In-person visits and on the phone.

An excellent Dr. I've alwoys had excellent care, treatment and advice. Port Colborne and surrounding areas should be glad to have him.

Cannot understand negative comments about Dr Remington and his staff, I have always found them to be professional and caring. His knowledge and qualifications are impeccable and well established in the region and I have found it so. So anyone who marks him less than 5 for knowledge doesnt know what they are talking about. Sadly patients need patience through COVID and wouldnt it be nice if patients were a little more appreciative

My mother has been neglected by this doctor. It's disgusting that he has not seen patients in over a year, using covid as an excuse and referring elder people to wait hours in the emergency department. Every attempt at an appointment with him, we get a different intern calling us back. He has no patients for elderly patients with chronic pain. I don't understand how this doctor is still practicing in Ontario.

My father has been neglected by this man. He cannot have an in person appointment even though his multiple ignored issues requires one. If you can get past the horrible receptionist and her predictable pushback then you may get an over the phone appointment with a student. As I write this my father is sitting in the hospital because he can't get care from this so called doctor. I thought maybe he was just using Covid as a cop-out for neglecting his patients but I can see by the dates on his reviews that he has been neglecting his patients long before Covid came along.

This man is the worst Dr you never get to see him he pawns you off to his students. He doesn’t care for his patients, he gives bad advice I had ear infection he said to put rubbing alcohol in them and when speaking to an ear specialist was told you never put rubbing alcohol in them as that could damage them.

Dr Jeffery Remington is absolutely an amazing DR, he is an absolutely life saver , he has been my doctor for about 3 years, I have no issues making an appointment or seeing him every single time I call , he spends more time explaining your problem or issues more then any other doctor that I have ever seen , he’s the only one that I know that actually goes the extra mile to talk to you one on one, his staff is also amazing, I have never had an issue with any of them as they are more then helpful, we all need to remember that doctors & staff are under a lot of pressure, so sometimes things might not go your way , all I can say for me he has been a LIFESAVER. Thank you DR Remington & staff for all you do .

Since coming to this doctor and his staff I have had good service. If you read the introduction letter it stated that you would see student doctors as to help Dr remington office see and help more patients. Thank you very much.

Terrible physician. Unable to get an appointment in a timely manner. Negectful on patient care and does not accommodate for same day emergency appointments. Office is impossible to get ahold of and cannot book with the doctor unless it is 3 weeks in advanced. Needs to seriously consider the way his practice is operating and take into consideration the serious implications of his patient neglect.

As above. Never met him in the last 6 Months he has been my Family Doctor. Have relied on the Emergency Department at the St Catharines Hospital for any Care needed.
