for visiting doctor roy, I found the front desk women was not very helpful or approachable. reading the comments she left on the Google reviews was insane. what a nut. She definitely had a very negative and poor attitude.
for me, The experience with the obgyn was very rushed, overall I had felt overlooked and it was really not what I was looking for. I would suggest that others book at a different location in burnaby/van

Dr Roy as a gynecologist was not good, I left our meetings feeling unheard. The woman who answers the phone/does the bookings is also a big reason I will not be going back. The woman on the phone had a bad attitude, was unwelcoming and should not have a job

Doctor Roy was very willing to answer all questions, and addressed any concerns I had. He was very kind during my IUD insertion, providing me proper medication and even allowing me to take breaks during dialation. I could not recommend him enough.

Dr Roy is very professional friendly and kind. He answered all my questions patiently and spoke to another specialist about my case as well. He also suggested treatment options that I was comfortable with. But, the receptionist is the most unprofessional and inconsiderate healthcare worker I’ve come across, and I work in healthcare. She has no compassion and treated me with disrespect.

Female Receptionist who I spoke on the phone to was one of the worst conversations I have ever had with a professional. So unhelpful and passive. Like others have said, I do not trust Dr. Roy or the other staff at this clinic. There needs to be kinder and less dismissive staff working in womans health clinics. The comments are this page are telling.
