Dr.Nanda is by far the best psychiatrist in the lower mainland. He is caring, professional and diagnoses correctly and explains things clearly. I wouldn't trade him for the world.Yes, you have to see him in the hospital but its worth it and really its not that much different from going to a doctors office is it?AMAZING doctor and I highly reccomend him.

Dr. Nanda is a very nervous doctor who is afraid of office practice. I have to go to the hospital for my regular visits. He couldn't treat me properly either.

I dont understand. He doesnt have an office. He only works out of the hospital. So that is useless. He may be good but one shouldnt have to sign themselves in to get help once a week.

I have been seeing Dr.Nanda for 6 years now,with no regrets.My family doctor placed a phone call to him the day I came into my GP's practice at what was certainly my life's end if it were not for my GP getting DR.Nanda to see me in Emergency,and being addmitted to hospital.He is a caring, attentive,doctor.He cares about my family as well as me.He has done and continues to do, everything possible for me.I am very fortunate to be in his hands.

I must say Dr Nanda has been the best Psychiatrist I ever had and I really miss him since I've moved out of the province. Way to go Dr Nanda! At least I can say that I have personally known a psychiatrist (and I have met several) who truly loves his profession and shows it by truly caring for his patients. Dr. Nanda goes beyond the call of duty. He is there whenever I need him, has never turned me down when I needed to see him or talk on the phone to him without an appointment. He also (diagnosed me or suggested) and advised me to see a diferent specialist for an illness that had been missed by other doctors. He is considerate of my feelings in his medical treatment of my illness. Dr. Nanda is one of our angels.

I have seen Dr.N for over 7 yrs. He has a caring, compassionate, professional and holistic approach. He treats me with respect and he actively listens and validates my concerns. He is willing to explore other treatments or medical solutions with me and makes me a part of decision making regarding my disorder. He looks at me as a whole person, taking into account my physical health, other medical conditions and my "head space" and I appreciate this immensely. I have never felt patronized or unheard - I would recommend Dr.N to anyone who is serious about working on their mental health issues - too bad he isn't a regular GP, I'd like to see him for all my other health needs.
