Dr. Killick is extremely unprofessional. She took on a new patient without learning any background information on said patient. Once she read their file, AFTER seeing the patient , she dropped them like a fly! Also , the sad letter that she wrote explaining her reasons she couldn’t see the patient sounded like it was written by a two year old! Dr. Killick left this patient in the dust with no other options or referrals.

My GP has tried to get her to respond for my need for a psychiatrist for close to a year, even if I am on cancellation list. I am so disappointed after all of the wonderful reviews. Even a response that her practice too full would be better.

I have gone through multiple counselors, GP's recommending medication for my anxiety and panic disorder for years, which I refused. I demanded a referral to a psychiatrist and in the process lost my GP as he did not beleive I needed one. Finally I found her and I can't reccomend her enough. She will not push meds on you, really takes her time to get to know you and your disorder before reccomending anything. I trust her as a medical physician. Never have I experienced such a caring doctor with impeccable bedside manner. You are very lucky if you get in with Dr. Killick. Needle in a haystack.

Dr. Killick is such a breath of fresh air. She is relatable and non-judgmental. She listens and provides psychological assessment and counseling at each visit. Very different from any other psychologist or counselor I have encountered. Highly recommended.

She is a wonderful doctor. Dr. Killick learns about me past, present, and helps to look to the future. She challenges me when I need a kick in the butt. I end up getting things done. She has saved my life. Every week I look forward to seeing her and can't imagine life without her. She has helped turn my life around. She is very knowledgeable about medication and we work together to find the right fit. Dr. Killick goes above and beyond, she has helped with my physical health also. Catching things my family doctor has missed or dismissed as nothing. Anyone, would be lucky to have her help and guide, them through this crazy thing called life and living.

Dr. Killick is a knowledgeable, ethical and compassionate psychiatrist. She interviewed me numerous times before prescribing any medication whatsoever. Her method was exactly what I wanted in a health professional and her experience with medications is extremely valuable to me. She offers counseling of a sort as wel, and she monitors my response to meds as I am very drug sensitive. She is simply excellent and one would be very fortunate to be able to work with her.

Lynn is fantastic. She has helped me immensely with identifying and treating my mental health issues and gave me a new foundation for a more productive and healthy life. Very easy to talk to and understanding. I wish I had her recommended to me years ago.

Excellent in all way, understanding and always on time. Listens very well and closely. I was seeing her as a result of an anxiety/disorder and on being prescribed a larger of Valium by Dr. Villesenor I told her about how I had been dizzy and non-functional. Was not able to drive due to over following a recommended withdrawal procedure Dr. Villesenor had downloaded from Dr. Heather Ashton's website; however, this did not result in any positive income for me as the amount of Valium Dr. Villesenor told me I should take (and I did unfortunately) was far in excess of anything I had previously been used to. At this time I also attending a biofeedback clinic in Maple Ridge run my some very excellent voluntters but as my anxiety disorder so so entrenched this did not work either. Needless to say I have attended many different types of programs over the years that did not result in any effective relief for my chronic anxiety (heights and bridge and generalized anxiety. I did then walk home from the biofeedback clinic on advise of staff there (and not drive asd being impaired due to overmedication). I do not even drink and and never have by the way so this sensation was absolutely both a surprise and shock to myself. On attending Dr. Killick I told her about all that had occurred (some days later and walking of course) and she indicated that that was insightful of me to had not followed the suggested protocol and used an extremely low level of Valium as per the required protocol. Prior to this I had Dr. Killick that the invigilator at Maple Ridge Mental Health group therapy had indicated I would have to redo this course as I had not been forthcoming. In my defense I must say two woman (one tall blonde lady hailing from South Africa and another somewhat stout lady with an alopecia condition had been come extremely good friends and on coming into the therapy room the lady with the hair loss condition had indicated there were some people that she did not like and would not sit beside - no kidding!!. Anyway she abandoned the seat she was going to sit in and went across the room to sit down where there were two vacant seats so she could save an extra seat for her friend. (The two were visitng together out of the cl;assroom time I understand). In any event the people she did not like were a younger dark-haired woman as well as a larger woman named "Donna" who I became somewhat close with. Needless to say I did not I did not go for another round of group therapy as this was extremely disappointing to me (I had never been in a group therapy group before and while extremely interesting to extent I found these two people to extremely harsh and judgemental towards the others in the group so I would most likely not be terribly enthused about engaging in such a group again. I did like my temporary friend very much as she was extremely educational as she had worked in a youth at risk environment in the downtown Eastside which of course would have been very stressful as anyone would certainly understand if you chose to actually get to know someone. I have always in my life embraced the idea that we learn from all people we cross paths with and this was most certainly true with Dr. Killick. Aside from that she is intelligent, focused, compassion and everything you could ever asked for if you need to voice any kind of issue in your life (be it either temporary or of longstanding) and I would enthusiasically recommend her to anyone. Overall just a very decent, decent person. Admittedly I did not take her advise (as to saving my RRSPs etc for a rainy day, etc.) howver this was certainly excellent advise I see in hindsight. That her advise was not persued by myself does not reflect badly on her at all as I knew she was sincerely trying to help me in my time of need.
