Unimpressed with Dr. Gatfield. Upon entry into emerg, he quickly harrassed me with telling me that I should had contacted my family dr. instead of seeing him. Unhappy with my experience with him.

I think that Dr. Gatfield is a wonderful doctor! He knows what he's talking about and I literally trust him with my life and the lives of my children. I feel very fortunate to have him as my family doctor!

Dr. Gatfield is a good doctor. He trys his best to get to the bottom of the situation. And is very therough. He can have a comical side to him as well. If he can't find you answers he refers you on to people or trys to look it up.

Dr. Gatfield does very good diagnostics's and and tells you the truth. He is taking care of me and my husband for several years. we moved away but I still drive 1 1/2 hours to see him. I always feel so much better when I leave, because he gives you that feeling of that he really cares and does everything to keep you healthy. And he is funny!

Dr. Gatfield has been my doctor since he came to St.Marys, he now treats my family also. At one of my first visits I did not agree with his breastfeeding advice as I was opposed to putting my son on solids at, in my opinion, too early of an age, to which he replied "I think you and I are going to get along just fine". I'll never forget how I felt somewhat intimidated as a new mom, to say what I felt to be right, and how he put me at ease with my opinion. I only have praise for Dr. Gatfield, and I feel he goes above & beyond to be thorough. Blunt? why not? I want the truth, it doesn't have to be sugar coated. I hope to always have Dr. Gatfield look after me and my family.

I cannot stand Dr. Gatfield. His attitude is sooo condecending. I dispise when he is on call. I'd rather sit home sicker than a dog than be examined by this ****!

I am alive today because of this great doctor..He treats my entire family and we all love him...if he cant help you he finds someone that can, if you dont listen to him then he tells you not to waste his time. He has a very gentle manner with my grandkids and he takes the time to listen to your problems, He is 1 in a million and we are proud to say he is our Doctor!!

He is very rough around the edges, but by far the best Dr. in St. Marys. He really knows his stuff and is not affraid to refer you to another Dr should you require it. PS: quit smoking before you see him.

He very much tells it like it is and doesn't waste time with idle chit chat. Which suits me fine because I don't go to the doctor to socialize. He finds out what the problem is, determines what you and he need to do to fix it and moves on. Very pleasant with kids. If he thinks the issue needs further investigation, he will see that it happens.
