I am a former patient of Dr. Silver. I had issues with his staff on numerous occasions. The secretary is very rude and sounds brash at times. His nurse seems as if she doesn't really want to be there and is just getting through the day as fast as she can. I left a message for Dr. Silver but I am certain he never got it because I never got a call back. If you want an appointment with the Dr. make sure you have your day cleared because you will be waiting for a while, he's always running behind. If you have a hard to diagnose case I suggest you not go to him because he can't help you.

Dr. Silver is a good doctor. My only set back is with the office help. I have never been so disrespected in all my life. They are just as rude in person as they are on the phone. If Dr. Silver wasn't such a good doctor he wouldn't have any patients with the staff he has. How could he not know how his patients are being treated. Very sad and unacceptable.

I showed up for my first appointment with Dr. Silver as a new patient. Finally, after waiting for an hour and a half, I asked the receptionist when I would be able to see Dr. Silver. She stated that she and the nurse did not know where he was and had not heard from him. When I asked her if this was unusual, she said "no, it happens sometimes."

Dr. Silver is, in my opinion, the BEST gastro doctor around. He is thorough, courteous, professional, and an amazing surgeon! You just can't get a better gastro doctor!

I worked around Dr.Silver and helped care for his patients shortly after residency.He talked down to me and belittled me. I heard some docs say he thought highly of himself but that doesn't give him the right to be condescending and unprofessional.I know he would never talk that way to my male colleagues.I will never forget his abusive remarks.

15 + years with Dr. Silver! He is the best, and Suzanne always helpful. Office staff rude, uncaring, and unprofessional! Thinking about leaving because of them. I am not sure why he doesn't pay attention to his patients concerns with the staff!

My husband has been seeing Dr. Silver for app. 18 years. He has saved my husband life by diagnoising his condition in a quick and efficient time and treating it properly, he now sees him as needed and continues his check up and test as directed. He is a man of high intergity and an excellent physician, I would highly recommend him to anyone and I have many times. If you do not deal with insurance companies you have NO idea how long it takes to even get thru to the right person(most offices do not have the time to stay on the phone for up to an hour to check on (mine and your insurance) that is after all our ( the patients responsibility) Yes I once had a situation with an office staff member,but I did discuss this with Dr. Silver and have not had a problem since, if the office manager or the physician does not know there is a problem, then they can not resolve the issue and on the other side if we have a pleasant experience we need to praise that person also. The PA's are wonderful!

I have been going to Dr. Silver for over 15 years and have received nothing but the best of care, treatment, and professional doctoring. He is and his PA and nursing staff are exceptional. Up until today (March 19, 2013), my experiences both with the office visits and endoscopy have been fantastic and I consider Dr. Silver a good friend. This AM I was confronted by the hostel receptionist processing me in for my office appointment. She was rude, curt, and offered no solutions or work-arounds associated with me not having my insurance card despite (1) having my basic insurance Identification number and claim number, (2) my previous history with the office, and (3) my wiliness for my wife to drop off a copy late morning thus allowing me in for my appointment. This employee is an impediment to Dr. Silver’s operation. Dr. Silver....please consider the removal of this employee as she is not representing you in the best light.

Dr. Silver is wonderful but his front office staff is terrible. If you call with a question or issue they are rude. His nurses are fabulous. I cannot say enough about what a wonderful and talented doctor Dr. Silver is! I want to add that he is only late because he is such a thorough surgeon.
