Was "uncomfortable" to do the surgery I needed bc of my age even though my echocardiogram showed I have a strong heart. Never explained to help me understand. Hopefully, I can find help at Cooper.

STAY AWAY FROM " MEDEMERGE " ALL THEY WANT TO DO IS TESTS, TEST, TESTS, THEY SENT MY BLOOD OUT TO BE ANALYSED WHEN I DID NOT PERMIT THEM TO DO IT AND THEY DID NOT TELL ME THEY WERE DOING THAT. WHEN I CALLED BAK TO DISCUS THE ISSUE, THE NURSE ( OR WHATEVER ) HUNG UP ON ME. THEY WERE VERY RUDE. WOULD NOT GIVE A CHANCE TO TALK. PILLA WILL HEAR FROM ME.

Dr. Pilla didn't show much concern for my medical issue and ended up telling me to come back in a month to follow up even though I was in severe pain. I wouldn't recommend his practice to anyone.

I have had Dr. Pilla as my PCP for about 20 years. He and the entire staff at his "Medemerge" practice have consistently provided excellent care.

I have been going to Medimerge since they opened. I have NEVER encountered a problem. The staff is alway polite and helpful. They won't just refill a prescription if they haven't seen you in the office in 3 months. This is the way it should be! Your conditions may have changed and the medication and dosage may need to be adjusted..hmmmm....kind of like a eyeglass prescription. So don't get mad at them they are just doing their job. I call for a referral and if they mail it I have it within 2 days or I can pick it up the next. How much faster can they do it concidering all the patients they deal with. And some don't know...when you are a walkin if you want to request a particular doctor that is on duty...you can. I have. But in general they are all great. Keep up the great job Medimerge Doctors and Staff!!!

The quality of services in this clinic is becoming very bad in terms of nurses (Last time, a new nurse took a blood sample and it kept bleeding for 10 minutes and my arm was blue for several days. I complained loudly and every one kept his/her head down) and doctors ( last visit, I was assigned to a new health professional, and I had just stuffy nose and slight cough. after blood work, she prescribed a sot of antibio. After five days I lost my voice) It was a big mistake going to these charlatans. Based on my long experience with them: The pharmacist is more qualified to understand the nature of health problems. Really, avoid them. I will avoid this clinic.

He trys to avoid sending you to specialists by using his LIMITED knowledge of areas of medicine that are outside of his area of experitse. He once refused to allow me to see a dermatologist after he prescribed Metrogel for my acne - I told him that my face was burning from this gel and he responded that "That is the current medication for acne. I had to come and see a different doctor to get a referral to a dermatologist. The dermatologist stated that a common side efect of metrogel is skin burning for people who have senistive skin - I was prescribed MetroCream and the burning stopped and my skin acme and redness cleared up.
