I went to a different doctor (in Weed), whom was NOT interested in finding out what was wrong with me; he only (sarcastically) stated, that there is "too much" wrong & began telling me that he does not give out narcotics... as though I was lying (medication seeking was why I was there). I tried to set a same day appointment with this same doctor (my PCP), & without even finding out id I was an established patient, they said they do not do same day appointment - which is NOT true - & told me to Terry Dr. Parker. Dr. Parker was straight forward, that first visit; which a more sensitive person would have taken as ride. I appreciated it. Within a few months, Dr.Parker & his team had ran a number of tests, obtained recent scans, and figured out WHAT was going on with me. I was diagnosed with a rare (yet, VERY SERIOUS) disease, & severe spinal damage. Since then, his office has kept up with my health; and made sure that I am doing what I should, and getting the medical assistance that I need.

I had a Bad experience Dr. Parker. Specifically: I went in because at 59, after a major MC Accident in '07, I have residual pain, Also pain from creeping Arthritis which is a family disease. He literally SHUT ME UP when I attempted to tell him, on the FIRST visit, about myself. "I don't need your Life History" he said. Most GOOD doctors are delighted you share that info. He was rude, telling me that he was not in the business of handing out narcotics to everyone who came in. I had bad experiences with this office before, when they shared medical information with me about my GIRLFREIND without her permission or knowledge, breaking FEDERAL HIPAA LAWS. I don't believe Dr. Parker cares for patients, He's committed to being the all powerful "DOCTOR" he keeps you in your place. NOT MEDICINE I WANT.

This doctor took me off of necessary medication stating I did not need it anymore. Another doctor put me right back on it after I had to be hospitalized for not taking the medication.

This guy is a big heartless jerk!!! He was rude and not helpful. I came in because I believed I gave myself a hernia lifting 100 pounds of potatoes. Even though I had a protrusion sticking out of the side of my abdominal wall that made me hurt and was pushing out whenever I left something he accused me of lying. What ever like I want something like that. I did not go back for the follow up because he made me feel unconformable and talk about me right in front of me like I was not their to his nurse. Look if you don't want to be a doctor then don't! I will always for as long as I live in Mt.Shasta let every person I know that Parker is a poor doctor that does not care about the people who come to see him. Seriously this guy made me feel uncomfortable to the point that I took care of myself! I am very glad this site is here so I can finally vent this! Peace and stay away from Parker if you want someone that actually listens and cares.
