When I complained of bad reaction to medication, he told me to keep taking it. I changed doctors, and she said quit. I still have nerve damage from that medication, listed as adverse effect in the PDR book. That was irresponsible! Lagro did not listen, and dismissed me as "He Knew Best."

This is one uncaring Doctor,He was seing my father who complained of chest pains, always tired, and always cold Dr lagro prescribed him anti-depressant pills? My Dad passed away from heart failure within a year of seeing Dr.lagro.I feel he killed my father because he was to lazy to send him to a cardiologist. He should have know that my fathers problem was not from being depressed. Also my father had a long history of heart problems, triple by-pass etc..He is now treating my mother and I am trying to get her away from him before he kills her too,At the presant time he is prescribing my mother pain medication just for the asking he does not have her go in for check ups like the D.E.A requires.Stay away from this doctor if you value your health.

My nephew just turned 18. If it wasn't for Dr. Lagro he wouldn't be here. My nephew has and is contining to be a wonderful addition to society. If Dr. Lagro hadn't had the instinct he had and acted so quickly to bring my nephew Into this world we all would have lost the impact he has made and will make. Dr. Lagro may question and be cautious in treatment of your psych or pain treatments but if you want a Dr. who has the instinct to identify your problem and treat it appropriately this is definetly a Dr. you want on your side.

Dr. Lagro is a very wonderful doctor. He saved my husbands life when Dr. Smith said nothing was wrong with my husbands heart ! Dr. Lagro has always been very professional and caring towards myself and my family. I totally trust him with my medical needs.

Seems to be quite confident of his abilities and quite shy on answers to questions. Terse answers and generally smug, actually.

Worst doctor I have ever been to. Spent 30 seconds with me trying to rush me. I gave him a sheet which had a supplement I had a bad reaction to, and he basically told me it was irrelevant and a placebo, and that I should get on Prozac. He gave me the prescription and basically told me it was harmless, and little did I know how potent this drug was. The worst part was he told me I could continue drinking alcohol or whatever I wanted to do as long as I took the drug, which was careless in my opinion considering research I found later. It felt very rushed, and he disregarded my opinions and only heard what he wanted to hear. He also failed to tell me that Ativan interacted with alcohol, which is likely why I had the spaced out feeling that led me to his office in the first place. I found this out later at the expense of being damaged by his Prozac prescription. Worst experience I can imagine.

Once told me NO doctor could help me. Gave me a prescription to go to church and God would heal me. Had Bursitis and H Pylori. Gave me meds from drug company reps. Almost every drug he gave me listed stomach upset as a contraindication. Had difficulty walking, he wanted me to get on a treadmill!! Would not recommend him to anyone.
