I was referred to Dr. Bryan K. Demarie by a friend who highly recommended him. I was looking for a primary doctor here with good bedside manner and one that I would like. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Demarie and liked him immediately. We talked a bit about my health history. I don’t recall whether he actually examined me but I left the appt happy. I would schedule with him once after that when I had allergy issues. He suggested things to buy for my allergies. I was a young healthy 30 yr old with no health issues, just allergies since relocating to Texas. I called him once again to ask for a referral for a foot doctor and he referred a great doctor. About a year later I started having weird headaches that the allergy meds would not fix along with a serious bout of Insomnia. Something was wrong. I called his office to make an appointment with the doctor. I show up to my appointment that was confirmed with Dr. Demarie. After I was called into an exam room, my vitals were checked by a nurse, she then leaves. In walks a woman who introduced herself as Janet who proceeded to ask about my symptoms. I rambled off a bunch of symptoms to her along with Insomnia. She offered to give me free samples of sleeping pills, that’s it. I then ask her where Dr Demarie is and she told me that the doctor was only seeing new patients. I scheduled to meet my doctor, my insurance was billed for a doctor’s visit yet I only saw the PA. This is fraud. Very disappointed that my doctor refused to see me when I was having serious health issues. I called a few weeks later to follow up with the PA and she had no suggestions. I would later find a different doctor who ran tests and discovered my vitamin D deficiency. I do not recommend anyone waste their time scheduling with Dr. Demarie
