I've been seeing Dr. Thistle for over ten years. I'm very happy with all dental work and the process followed by staff. I'm a nervous patient and have always felt comfortable with Dr. Thistle and his team.

Our family has been going to Dr. Thistle for many years. We have always felt that time is taken to carefully explain procedures or recommendations and they are always backed up with thorough explanations. It is lovely to feel cared for by all the staff and that you matter as a patient. Their level of overall care is exceptional and I would highly recommend Dr. Thistle to any one looking for an positive experience, especially if someone has experienced any anxiety around dental visits!

Dr. Thistle has been my dentist for over 20 years. His work is exceptional. He is punctual, knowledgeable and always takes time to explain and help his patients weigh out their options for care.
His receptionist Charlene is awesome as well.

Does not listen and often recommends unnecessary, over the top procedures. Once went in for a filling and after the numbing, they drilled into the wrong side of my mouth so it was incredibly painful then required a 2nd small filling on the opposite site for the accidental drilling. Very poor time management and scheduling as well.

This dentist didn't listen, made jokes at my expense, talked down to me, discounted my experience/account of issues (even when backed by other dental account of a long standing issue), disregarded and dismissed me on multiple visits, did not check to see if I was okay with quality of what he'd done, just walked out, often rushing and going back and forth between patients, returning sometimes if forgot something, didn't feel he took me seriously. Never experienced anything like this before. Would not go back again. I found him arrogant and was made very uncomfortable by him cracking jokes with his assistant about my responses to him, while working on me as if I wasn't able to hear and see the exchanges. He also tried to make decisions for me without consulting me and getting my understanding it consent about his dental plan for me. He did not communicate most of it to me nor ask for my input. I was surprised by what I was later told by an admin person. I felt several things he decided for me (not with me) were unnecessary procedures and cosmetic things that I was not asked if I wanted. His admin staff were fine but he didn't listen to me or detect a legitimate issue I presented complaints about until after 2 visits. Listen to patients, and treat people with respect. After multiple unpleasant out uncomfortable appointments, I will not return. Patients are not inanimate objects. I found another dentist who listened and didn't dismiss me/talk over me/work on me as if I had no agency.

Greg Thistle has been my dentist for more than 20 years. He is pleasant and professional. He doesn't encourage unnecessary procedures. I've recommended him to several people who have been really happy with Dr a Thistle as well. His staff is great and parking costs are covered.

Very negative experience. Dr. Thistle recommended an unnecessary procedure that has changed my teeth for the worst. Will not be going back.
