Have had the pleasure of having Scott take care of some major dental work including cosmetic improvements. This is allowing me to smile without thinking about how my teeth look to others for the first time since childhood. Very welcoming space and staff and Dr. Maclean explained every step beforehand to alleviate any anxiety. Great dentist and highly skilled, I highly recommend him.

Do not trust him on expensive dental procedures that need surgery. He is awful! He is knowledgeable (like a nerdy kid on the block) but only good at talking but lacking in practice. He was rough, and what a terrible bedside manner! If he were my first dentist, I'd be traumatized by now. Fortunately, I have had fantastic dentists in the past. I will not come back to his clinic. Having him perform an expensive procedure was the worst decision I have made.

My husband and I have been patients of Scott's for 30 years. In fact I think we are one of his first patients. Scott is very professional, very competent. He keeps up with a constantly changing profession, and always has the latest technology, to make it easier on his patients. In thirty years I have never once seen him be rude to anyone.
I feel totally comfortable when in the chair. Over the years I have had teeth extracted and had 3 implants, and I can say that I am very happy with his service. He gave me his email, (on a long weekend) after an extraction in case I had any issues.
The dental hygienists, are very friendly and competent.

Dr. Scott Maclean and his staff have all been great each and every time over the past several years. My last appointment was suppose to be a tooth extraction but Dr Scott made a decision to save the tooth and actually saved me time, pain and money by giving me choices as to how we might fix my tooth. I'm very thankful, still have my tooth and money in my socks. He is #1 with me.

I have had a number of appointments in the last month and each time I waited a minimum half hour to be seen with no sort of apology or mention of me waiting. My last appointment I waited almost an hour for then to be told I could not be seen due to a communication error. The receptionist was lovely and apologetic, however when I did rebook Dr MacLean made no mention of this error and instead made it seem like I am the one who was too busy to have my appointment. Not an ounce of truth. In the past I’ve been witness to him being rude to his hygienists ( who are always very nice). I was originally going to a different dentist who left and he told me she couldn’t “hack it”. Super unprofessional. Will not be returning and am relieved to be done with his practice. I would never recommend.

For years I found Dr. Scott to be a very good dentist. At some point though the waits became very long and he appeared to be very moody so I became nervous if he was in a bad mood. I had a very bad experience when he did my filling and wouldn’t stop so I could rinse the blood and pieces of tooth out of my mouth. I ended up swallowing some so I decided it was time for a change. I popped on and was reading some doctor reviews so I looked him up. I hope he’s been able to work out whatever seemed to be going on because I do think he is quite skilled when he is in a good mood. I had to change dentists but I sincerely hope things have improved and I wish him the best.

I wasn’t treated with any respect by Dr Scott. I felt like I was just a number. He was very rough whilst working on my teeth and barely spoke to me or his assistant at all. He did not explain anything he was doing so I felt really uncomfortable. I won’t be back. His prices were really high.

Dr. Maclean went out of his way this morning to squeeze me in before his other appointments after suffering a injury to my face playing hockey the night before. Both he and his staff were extremely professional and provided me with exceptional care. He walked me through what was happening so that I understood and made sure I was never in pain. I have nothing but great things to say about him and his staff. Best dentist in the city, I highly recommend Dr. Maclean!

I saw dr.Maclean tonight. It was the first time I had seen this dentist at trimac. He was so kind in my appointment. I was having a lot of pain and he discussed the best options for my tooth with me and was able to relieve much of the pain tonight with a plan to restore the tooth. His team was really helpful and I especially find the office manager very kind and thorough at trimac. The location and parking is so convenient and the follow up is great. I'm so happy with the care I recieve there!

I had a very poor experience with this dentist. Very rough. Very full of himself. Rude to his assistant. I will not be going back and won't ever allow my family or friends.
