Longstanding patient here. Read Dr. E the reviews of the 45 min wait and he laughed and said it must be the competition rating! He's never been more than 20 min late with me and he told me if he ever gets out to 30, he'll speak to the person in the waiting room, apologize and schedule another visit

Waited over 45 minutes past appointment time. Only one in waiting area. He took two minutes with me and told me to see my other doctor first, that had Nothing do do with my problems why I was seeing a Rheumatologist!

Waited for 45 minutes before being called back. He spent less than two minutes with me. Changed my medication without really going into detail as to why. When I asked about it he dismissed my question. Very disappointed. Will not go back.

NEVER in my life have I been turned away from a doctor's office for being 10 minutes late. NEVER! Nor have I been treated in such a coldhearted manner by the receptionist. I have seen MANY doctors - gone through breast cancer and still dealing with a connective tissue disorder. I waited weeks to get in as a new patient. What kind of a doctor would turn a new patient (one who has chronic pain on a daily basis) away for arriving 10 mins. late? There was ONE person in the waiting room besides me, and it's possible he was waiting for another doctor in the office. I sent all of my paperwork ahead of my appt. so it wasn't an issue. There is 1 rheumatologist in SLO, so he must have the monopoly on all of us chronically in pain patients. I cannot get over what a disregard for another human being's pain this doctor and this office must have. Another example of how powerless one feels as a patient - helpless and frustrated. I would NOT recommend a doctor who has so LITTLE compassion.

One of the nurses on infusion staff was unnecessarily sarcastic and rude to my 86 yr old mother last time she was in for her Remicade treatment. There's much to be said about good patient relations. We won't go back!!
