More than 10years Dr. Lunn has been my family physician . Always very happy and satisfied .

I only saw Dr. Lunn a few times. He was usually so booked out that I would see his PA Pete Foster. That was fine by me because I really didn't care for Dr. Lunns bedside manner. He seemed arrogant and the one time I did have a major medical issue requiring hospitalization his diagnosis differed drastically from the attending Dr at the hospital as well as my surgeon. When I addressed this with him he seemed to be frustrated that I would even dare question his infallible opinion on the matter. Dr. Foster remained my primary care Dr for a few years as I really only went for minor issues once in a blue moon. It wasn't until I started having issues with anxiety (I've been a social worker for 6 years so goo figure) that I realized how unhelpful they were. I saw another person posted the inconvenience of the frequent follow up visits requested. This must be a policy of the office because I experienced the same thing and its just not possible to request time off of work 1 to 2 times a month for 5 minute follow ups. I could understand if the patient was experiencing severe problems or narcotics were being subscribed but in my case it just felt like extortion. The final straw was when he prescribed a medication and told me to take 1/2 pill daily but to increase to a whole pill if I had no relief. I increased to a whole pill a week in and when it came time to refill he wouldn't authorize the script since I had missed my follow up. I had explained to him dieting the initial appt that I had recently stated a new job and was unsure of I would be able to get off again. So, I was forced to stop taking a medication that by his own words was not good to quit cold turkey. I was able to get a refill without assistance from my insurance and have now changed doctors as I want someone that cares about the patient, not making money for the clinic.

GOOD: Dr. Lunn RXed Chantix that helped me quit smoking. But he wanted me to come see him every other week (paying $35 each time) to tell him if the medicine was working. BAD: On my last visit to see Dr. Lunn, I waited 1 hour & 15 minutes in waiting room plus another 45 minutes in exam room. I expressed my frustration from waiting to Dr. Lunn. At first he said nothing, then he turned around and yelled, "Well if I hadn't been nice and accepted seeing a patient that was 45 minutes late for her appointment this morning, you would not have waited to so long!" I'm sure that late morning patient was glad to be seen but I don't understand how that could have caused my visit to be delayed 2 hours & 15 mintues. It showed me that Dr. Lunn doesn't adhere to his office rules (appointment must be rescheduled if you are more the 15 mins. late). It also shows me that Dr. Lunn kind of has peferential treatment - he'll break his own rules to make one patient happy but inconvenience others.

Dr. Lunn has cared for entire family for years. He is kind, caring, an exceptional diagnostician. His integrity is unimpeachable and I consider him one of the finest doctors I've known. He is a family practice doctor because he loves his patients. I can't imagine what prompted the previous comment but urge readers to disregard these undocumented allegations.

I saw this doctor three times. He yelled at me, was uncaring about my condition and put false information in my medical record. He totally missed my diagnosis. Even with elevated liver enzymes, he never tested me for Hep C which I learned from a different doctor that was what I had and why I was feeling so sick. He said I was making up my symptoms and put in my records that I had mental illness even though that is not in my history. In another words, I was just a crazy woman that just gripped a lot.
