My husband had a sebaceous cyst near his collarbone. for a period of 3 years, he would ask Flores to examine it from time to time. The doctor always said to leave it alone. It began to rupture. it was clearly infected, with green, purulent drainage present. My husband was pale, clammy, dizzy, and generally felt horrible. The doctor examined the cyst, measuring it with a disposable measuring tape. He touched this tape to the ruptured cyst and then threw the tape back into the drawer. I was aghast! I am a registered nurse and could not believe what I was seeing! he told my husband all that he needed was some antibiotics. Nothing about draining the cyst. Nothing about his pallorand dizziness. my husband stood to leave and nearly passed out on the man. At that time, I guess he decided that perhaps he should address the issue with something more than amoxicillin (which my husband is allergic to). I asked if he would be removing the cyst. Dr. Flores looked at me and flatly told me that he doesn't do 'that kind of thing, ' and immediately had the nurse call a surgeon whose office is near by. My husband had to be transported via wheelchair since he was too dizzy to walk. The surgeon said that my husband was beginning to go septic, and that another 18 hours without treatment would have landed him in ICU.
We have such a shortage of quality physicians who will accept new patients. Here is a clue- if he is the only doc in town taking on new patients, there must be a reason. Steer clear of him.

I was very sick and had to see Flores because my Dr. was out on vaction. He came in the room and was in for 5 min maybe and said I had asthma never have had and still don't and prescribed an asthma test. The next day I went backinto office to see my Dr. he immediately put me in th ehospital. Flores didn't spend any time with me and I would not recommend taking anyone to him. The nurse even said to come back the next day to see regular Dr. I spent 3 days in the hospital was dehydrated and had phemonia.

He will order every test in the book if he feels it needs to be done in order to get your diagnosis. Isn't afraid to find the cause of the problem. Good doctor. Needs to work on bedside manner, but otherwise good.
