I was examined by Dr. Corey during Covid-19 era. His first contact was by phone and he called me to the walk in clinic next day for examination. First examination was performed by a nurse-practitioner who examined me very thoroughly. Then Dr. Corey reviewed all my history and examination and gave me recommendation. Although he doesn't speak too much, he is very professional and was able to address all my questions and concerns precisely. I am a retired medical doctor myself. I was quite impressed by his knowledge and his nurse practitioner.

Dr. Corey became my family doctor five years ago. He was there for me after suffering from a medication mistake from the ER to help me through years of complications. Again he is the only doctor here for me after a surgery that had complications and a surgeon that will not even answer my calls. Not surprising that Dr. Corey is here for me as he always has been. He will spend a lot of time with his patients trying to figure things out when most doctors walk in and give you 5 minutes and walk out. I should say I appreciate you to him more but you forget, so I will say if you are lucky enough to have Dr. Corey for your family doctor you are a very lucky person .

I have been a patient of Dr. Corey for few years now. They don't make doctors like him anymore. He is meticulous, attentive , and does not experiment- He knows exactly what he is doing and he is always right! He is the only doctor I trust with my life. Best Doctor EVER. Whom ever gives him negative review must be his professional rival. -S

Dr. Corey is not my PC physician, but I wish he were. He works in several clinics, puts in long hours. I‘ve seen him about 3 times in the past 2 yrs as a walk in . After a very very long wait at the Walk In Clinic ( not his fault, there are few doctors available). His diagnosis is accurate, he take his time, is not rushed and is very calm. He asks relevant questions and answers questions directly and honestly. Need more doctors like this.

Dr. John Corey is a Transport Canada Certified Medical Examiner. As such I found my required Aviation Medical renewal process carried out under his review, to be nothing short of Excellent. Clear. Kind and Concise during the Examination. I highly recommend his services. The Front End Staff were efficient, knowledgeable and extremely helpful while setting up the appointment and dealing with the necessary associated Paperwork.

We have seen this doctor twice. The first was before we had a family doctor for our infant so we could get her first vaccinations. We barely spoke or looked at us the entire time we were in there, he just spent 15 minutes on his laptop looking up how to administer the shots, gave them to her without saying anything, then left without providing any information for new parents that we didn't have to pry out of him. The next was a few days ago when we took her to the Superstore medical clinic in North Van as she was really sick and had a bad rash. Again, he had the personality of a piece of unbuttered toast. But after having a brief look at her gave us some medication for possible strep throat, though he didn't test for it. When we told him about the blood that came out of her mouth in the middle of the night. He said this was likely due to her tonsils being so inflamed that they bled. He also didn't really have much to say about the bad rash. Two days later because the rash was getting worse I decided to take her to another doctor who immediately diagnosed her with a blatantly obvious staph infection. She also said that his diagnosis of bleeding tonsils doesn't exist, but was likely a result of staph sores in her mouth.
While he gets cool points for look like a Swedish Bond villain, we will be avoiding his services like the plague.

Absolutely the worst experience with a doctor ever. Believe the majority of comments here about this doctor.

The staff gave me incorrect information about my test; the nurse practitioner didn't ask for my personal history, only my family history, and seemed extremely vague and unsure of herself. I couldn't see how she added to the serve. Dr. Corey seemed indifferent and even fed up with life.
