Dr Corey is a very knowledgeable and thorough doctor. He takes the time to ask questions, listen, investigate and provide a diagnosis. He is sought after and doesn’t rush patients so no wonder he is behind.

Good doctor, but HORRIBLE RECEPTIONIST and TERRIBLE WAIT. Does he "get off" on making patients wait so long? Get a bigger office space and hire 2 receptions if you are so busy. This is so cheap and reflective on your clients...we are just pay checks, it looks like. PLEASE..HIRE somebody good and efficient...not just somebody CHEAP. The waiting room is a mess and doesn't have to be. I left because I just can't spend my life waiting!! TOO BAD!!!

Dr. Corey is very approachable and thorough.
The receptionists are in no way organized, the window for waiting time is unbearable, sometimes is 3 hours, and some others is 6 hours, I am sure that this problem comes from inept individuals that don’t know how to keep time on schedule.

I really enjoy having Dr Corey take care of any health concerns.He is straight forward and really covers any issues with care and knowledge.
Dr Corey is one on the most reliable dependable Doctor who will get to the bottom of any concerns and treat them very quickly.I really enjoy his care and approach.

He skipped out on my appointment two days in a row
i liked doctor corey quite a bit in the beginning but he has disappointed me multiple times now and he is a no show without warning

Dr. John Corey is by far the most knowledgable doctor I have come across in BC. His attention to the underlying conditions and assessing treatments is at a much higher level than would be expected by a non specialist, and even then has surpassed many I have come across. I cannot say enough about his ability to treat patient issues. If there is a medical issue, I want a doctor that knows how to treat...that is Dr. Corey. If I want to have a happy fireside chat...I will call a friend. Having said that, I also appreciate his bedside manner as being far better than many have commented! Diane

This doctor is extremely rude. I waited to see him my toddler for over an hour because she had fever and after I complained him about the waiting time in that clinic he said I am abusing him and he is going to call the police and he left the room immediately. I think he makes no sense. He has zero ethics.

The best family doctor on the north shore extremely thorough conscientious and caring. His manner is professional and is sincere. Hes not your friend but he truly wants to provide top notch care to his patients despite a broken system

I don't think this kind of doctor exist anymore- he is so so so responsible. I have a terrible neck strain and lower leg pain for like 3 days without getting better and Dr. Corey called me once and I missed the call. It was 9 PM and Dr. Corey called me again to give me the medication I needed and the advice I was looking for!! I have really bad health phobia and I need a lot of reassurance from my doctors and it seems he just gets that and tried his best to help me. I am really touched by how strong his work ethic is and how confident and knowledgeable he is with his knowledge; people like him inspire me to become a better person and more responsible person as well. I rarely leave any reviews for MDs on this forum, but thank you so much Dr. Corey for your kindness and patience. - WYS

He literally ditched my appointment.
I was waiting to get a prescription for my painful UTI so I could get some relief overnight. I waited by my phone for 4 hours for his phone call and it's now 9pm and nothing. He wasted my whole evening, I could have seen another doctor but now everything is closed. Also impossible to get a hold of the receptionist to reschedule/cancel/reach the doctor after 2pm. They shut off the phone lines so it's impossible to make any sort of adjustment to the appointment or ask where the hell the doctor went???
