DO NOT GO HERE.

This clinic likes to waste your time by making you drive 500km to tell you to "lose weight" and to "take advil" and "there's nothing wrong with you". Specifically Dr. Jeff Robinson, the worst orthopedic surgeon in Edmonton by far, is a useless piece of hot garbage. He even likes to threaten and sleep with his staff(see attached photo).

Quite frankly, this clinic owes us a day of lost wages, two tanks of gas to drive from Grande Prairie and back, and the lost time we could have been seeing other useful surgeons that aren't absolute crap to deal with.

Very helpful doctor. Recommend very highly. Those that recommend poorly should perhaps be looking for a psychologist instead of a GP/sports medicine Dr.

Was pretty rude, felt like I was being interrogated during initial assessment. I wont' be going back for a follow up. Rather see another doctor that won't talk down to me...and at least pretends they don't loathe me as a patient.

I have been seeing Dr Robinson for the last 5 years, after being referred to him when my family doctor of 27 years retired. I have no complaints in regards to any diagnosis he has made and he always makes every effort to get to the root cause of my health issues. He may not jump straight to pills as mentioned in other reviews but certain does when it is absolutely needed. I have total trust in him. He is always on time and takes as much time as I need to properly access my concerns.

I saw Jeff since I was a young child but I stopped seeing him over five years ago because he wouldn't properly treat me. I had bone surgery on my femur and was in agony and went to see him and he wrote me a script for the weakest pain killer, it didn't help and I continue to be in extreme pain day and night for more than three of the longest days. I was later told by a different doc that what he gave me would be appropriate for a little frail old lady. A few years after this I was seeing a different doc for ADD and this different doc was retiring so my file was transferred to Jeff to continue treatment/writing scripts. He wouldn't write prescriptions for ADD meds because he 'didn't feel comfortable'. Luckily his office colleague was my father's doctor and my father mentioned my dilemma to her where she happily offered to treat me. She is still my doctor at a different office now.
I spoke of these incidents with a very well respected Doctor for the EPS & RCMP and he shared the same opinion with me that Jeff doesn't want to treat sick people, he doesn't want the sad cases; and he doesn't believe in pills. He wants to be a politician as he's on boards and committees. He also wants to be around the pro athletes. So his focus and motivation is not to help the sick, there's no glamor in that.

Don't go to him. Just don't. We've had perpetual misdiagnosis issues with him.
