Dr. M. Moodley, without a doubt, is the most professional, caring, knowledgeable, take the time to explain doctors that you will find. Surgeries performed, procedures performed, I totally look forward and trust his professionalism, knowledge and skill in times of medical attention. Being a surgeon is not easy, and being a good doctor for all people is even impossible. I do not know why someone giving him the negative reviews. Based on my experiences with my wife‘s emergency treatment for acute gallstones and cholecystitis, following surgery and review, he is a very professional, efficient, compassionate doctor. I Would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Moodley and his staff are so kind to deal with and prompt to return your call. Dr. Moodley provides an educational component to whatever condition he's helping you with. He took great care of my husband during surgery and my husband's postoperative recovery was smooth thanks to Dr. Moodley's skill as a surgeon and his compassion for his patients. We're very thankful to Dr. Moodley.

Absolutely worst. Arrogant know it all, who misdiagnosed loss of feeling / spasm symptoms from two bulging and 1 herniated discs as “stress” . Will be reporting him to the medical board.

Dr. Moodley was amazing. I asked for no scar and Dr. Moodley took a 3cm x 3 cm gallstone out years ago from my belly button and he was so proud as I was. Great surgeon

I don't know why this doctor has such negative reviews. He was absolutely amazing for my surgery. I am a woman and I never felt as if he looked down to me, or treated me like a lesser human being. I'm not sure where other people were getting that vibe.
I will say that he speaks in a very direct and blunt way, but I don't find that rude. He is extremely knowledgable and does the best to make sure you understand every aspect of your surgery. He even noticed and treated me for a condition I didn't even know I had that was unrelated to my actual surgery. That, to me, is an outstanding and compassionate doctor.
My surgery went very well and he made sure that I was well taken care of.
