Large staff, but only one doctor, nice office space, opted out of medicare, high prices for office visits, not sure if anyone in the office is really following the latest medical journals.

I am thoroughly shocked from this practice. Michael, as I will not address him as Doctor, you need to earn that title will steal your money and give you false advice.
His staff is unhappy, and don't get me started on the pharmacist peddling 900$ in vitamins that Michael so desperately said I needed to take. I went to see other doctors to get off of Benzos, already off and feel great. Don't let him tear your family apart with the extremely high Bills.
If you have a serous issue, go elsewhere, or this man could very well inflict more damage by scamming people by giving them alternative treatments to serious illnesses that of which could be taken care of by a REAL doctor. That being said buyers beware , thats all he's doing is selling.

He uses forced kinesiology to test for celiac disease, he would have you hold a piece of food containing gluton to your forehead, while you extended your other arm outward, then he would pull down pretty lightly on your extended arm making "a gruntlike sound"
Next: he has you take a "vitamin" and hold it to your forehead while you stood, again he pulls down on my extended arm, but this time he pulls MUCH harder going "wow you're strong, I am 99% positive you have a type of celiac issue" mind you he forgets the effortful "grunt"
We have two witnesses with cellphone audio/video proof.
Much much more BEWARE, and ask around first.

My experience with the Schacter Center has been very positive. The staff is courteous, polite and very helpful. John Reynolds the PA I am seeing is very informative and caring. I have only seen Dr. Schacter once so far, but my experience with him was positive. I am currently seeing them to improve my overall health and so that they can hopefully help me get off a few medications I am currently on.

I have to say that Dr. Schachter has been more than helpful with my medical health . On more than one occasion he has diagnosed my problem and I thank God I came to him this last time because no one could solve my health problem however he did with great success. I highly recommend him as I think he has Complementary Medicine down to a Science and I respect the way he practices medicine. I feel very great full to have him as my Doctor for over 10 years.

Today I had a visit with Dr. Schachter and about 3 weeks ago I met with one of his PA's.I am so pleased with Dr.Schachter's treatments. I started changing my diet and taking certain vitamins and for the first time in years I don't get tired and have alot of energy. The staff is so helpful and a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend this center.

Dr. Schacter is nothing more than a vitamin salesman, and knew absolutely nothing about Gluten Intolerance (Celiac Disease), which, ironically, is the cause of nutrient deficiencies. Most of his patients would probably benefit from the Gluten Free diet. But neither he nor his "Staff Nutritionist" was familiar with it. And sadly, Sally Minnifield, a very sincere and well meaning P.A., was not either. Further, Schacter sent me home (at a cost of $85.00) with a bottle of "SerenAid" by Klaire Laboratories. There is an FDA advisory against this formula. I believe firmly that medicine needs to take a nutritional approach to healing, but this doctor is a quack, in my opinion.

I liked his office and help from the lab and staff. The staff really understands alternative health. It is also a decent place to get tests. However, the doctor himself charges hundreds of dollars for his appointment and sits there, types everything you say for forty five minutes and hands you his report after he finishes, and leaves without saying a word. No form of advice is on the statement he gives back to you. Furthermore, he is not affiliated to any hospital and will not contact any hospital for his patients. Also, he publishes articles, but when asked about what he wrote, he knows nothing of the subject (which, when published, was cutting edge for alternative health). Overall, great office, bad doctor.
