BE CAREFUL about him. SO DANGEROUS he sees you as a customer, not a patient. He knows what he is doing. I can not say he is not an expert.
I have a positive h pylori test from endoscopy and stool test and he said I should wait 1 month more for another test. He said maybe dead bacteria, I have on PhD bioengineering. I also know what is bacteria. If any doctor worries about this reason, he can want bacterial culture from my biopsy. He did not. He can want ANTIBIOGRAM test. He did not. Even he did not return my test results. I called and send messages and he did not answer. Her nurse returned to me. And accept what he is doing. BE CAREFUL about him. They said they will prescribe me new medicine today. A new set of antibiotics without checking ANTIBIOGRAM test and they did not write any medicine. Now i am suffering from a burning stomach.
I will talk with a lawyer for my health. Science does not say lies. If I do not know science he can easily turn to me irreversible patient for gastro. THE DANGEROUS DOCTOR PLEASE RUN AWAY FROM HIM. I understand the system in here how it works. They are trying to add the system as a customer. They are not trying to cure you.
Additionally, He insults my country. I have proof that I came here clean. I got the bacteria in here. When I visited him he said an in non-developed countries like Peru people have this illness. I will never forget this.
HOPE YOU NEVER MEET WITH HIM

I have had two (routine) colonoscopies with Dr Piper and he was very efficient and professional both times. The second time he seemed busier and had less time for small talk, but I attribute that to the pressures of working in our health care system. The nurse assisting him was excellent as well.

The best physician I have ever seen, period. He does procedures effectively and timely. He speaks in a respectful tone and always seems to put a smile on my face. I would refer anyone to him.

Contrary to other reviews, I have gone to Dr Piper for at least 5 or 6 colonoscopies. He has always been professional and in my unprofessional opinion, he knows well what he is doing. Were it not for his work, I would not be here.

He is the antithesis of empathetic, he is ignorant about people, and while I'm not an MD, I question his competence. Please ... if you care about your loved one, as I'm sure you do, pls try to seek care elsewhere.

Dr. Piper spoke in a harsh, rude tone and spent less than 10 minutes with me after I had waited for this very important appointment. He even challenged my knowledge of the body itself and my own symptoms. I am going to him to get testing done alone, but plan on asking my PCP for another referral as soon as I receive my colonoscopy results. I would never recommend him to anyone. My significant other was waiting in the waiting area and also witnessed him becoming angry with the reception staff. He just strikes me as unprofessional.
