Dr. Maccarone is an extremely hard-working physician. He works seven days a week because he enjoys what he does and wants to help people who are ill! If you think a doctor should behave or wish to do otherwise then that's your choice. Prices are high at any doctors office and if he chooses to listen to music that he likes in his own office, why can't he? Would you like to enjoy yourself at work? probably. He is professional, very helpful, and works hard to assure your constant health. If he does not believe that he can help you he will refer you to another doctor who can and he will not waste your time.

I waited over two hours to have my vitals done and then he talked to me for 5 minutes in his office before having to ask an associate how to handle my conditons. He is rude to his employees and complains about them to his patients. I heard him cuss out an employee for a mistake he made. NOT professional at all. Would not send my dead dog to see him

He is rude and pushes you off on other staff so he could try to build his small clinic, He also at the time that I was seeing him he had lost his hospital privlages due to nnot wanting to renew and a few other things that I over heard through the very thin walls. they also talk about patients behind thier backs as soon as they walk in or out and don't seem to care who heard. He was always telling me that he need to check with someone on what was going on. Then told me to leave and needed to pay 25cents a page for my records even though we are military. Just because he didn't want a case that he could mess up only wants kids and old people so they can't tell on what is going on. I was also in the medical field and knew it seemed more than he did. He is a big QUACK.

When I was in the office, more then once; I waited at least 2 or more hours to see him. Then If I need test done. I have waited weeks to months to get the test set up. I am still waited for a out of network apportment to be set up. It's been 6 months. They don't call back. It's my health they are playing around with. They don't seem to care. A person can die waiting on them to order test and take care of your health.

The overall atmosphere of this office is warm and caring. My only complaint, and this is a big one, is the time we have to wait for to actually see someone. Yesterday's wait for a simple lab test was 45 minutes. After the test, the wait time was nearly 25 minutes more.

My wife and I both changed to Dr. Maccarone when our regular primary care provider retired. A friend had spoken very highly of her experiences with him so we scheduled an appointment to talk to him, since changing providers is a very important decision. He spoke to us for a full 15 minutes, answering each and every question honestly and in detail. He called us at home to follow up on a lab test, which is not something we expected, and you sense he has a personal interest in each patient. Yes, we have had to wait at times, however, I don't know of any health care appointment which promises (or delivers) precision in meeting appointment times. Our experience is that he is a highly professional, very knowledgeable clinician.

The waiting time is never under 1 hour. I waited over 2 hours during my last visit. The doctor is knowledgeable and kind, but the time spent waiting is unbeliveable!

Dr. Maccarone has always beeb professional and helpful to me. His staff could be nicer . But I have no problem with his medical care . Ye, you do have to wait awhile. But my wait is always worth waiting . He has always sent me to other specilaist as needed . I like Dr. Mac as a doctor and a person. He could use another doc, he is quite busy. My opinion of the D. Mac is 5, and his staff could brush up. As long as helps me with my problems I keep utilizing his services .

Over extended. Too many patients to provide quality care or follow up of serious issues. Failure to properly examine or refer known cancer patient to urologist or oncologist when presented with blood/clotting in urine; diagnosed as UTI w/o labs twice.
