Dr. Ananthan has been my Dr. for almost 40 years now. She's the best doctor anyone could ever have. Very caring and thorough and a wonderful person.

Waited 50 minutes after my appointment time and still haven’t made it in the room. Be prepared to wait endlessly or have appointments canceled. My last appointment was canceled twice and my brothers canceled without a phone call

Dr.Ananthan is an amazing physician! She has never once dismissed a concern I have had or made me feel stupid for coming to see her with a problem. I have had the pleasure of getting the best care from Dr.Ananthan in a time when having a great family MD is hard to come by. I moved over an hour away from Brampton and continue to make the drive to see her because of how amazing and attentive she is. I wish more physicians could have the bed side manner, analytic skills, and knowledge she beholds.

Dr Ananthan has been my doctor for 37 years, she has been very helpful and an excellent listener, she has taken very good care of me, as I have many health issues, I hope she doesn’t retire, as it will be difficult to have to find another doctor, as I need care at least every two to three weeks. The staff are excellent, very quick at booking appointments, and easily answering emails quickly and promptly.

Dr. Ananthan is an excellent Dr. She has been my doctor for 35 years and has always taken excellent care of me and my partner. She takes her time and listens to what you are telling her instead of trying to get you out of the office. She has often called me personally with results if she knew it was a concern for me. I hope she keeps practicing for many more years to come. Her staff are also very friendly and if it's urgent she will always fit you in.

Dr. Ananthan has been my Doctor for over 30 years and she is an excellent doctor. My daughter and son also see Dr. Ananthan and have received excellent care. I have had several health issues over the years and she handled each problem immediately, professionally and with great care and attention. So many people could not see their Doctor in person through the pandemic but Dr. Ananthan and Brittany continued on with the same care as always. I recently had my annual physical and it was as always very thorough, professional and caring. I cannot imagine not having Dr. Ananthan and Britany caring for me and my family. They are absolutely the best.

Dr A has been my GP for all my life, 30 years. She is fantastic in every way but I can tell she’s getting tired. I love Brittany at the front desk. Easy to deal with for referrals and bookings. Dr. A is attentive and kind and knows when she needs to refer out which I respect.

I’ve known Dr. Ananthan & have been her patient for many years now. It’s always super easy to get a last minute appointment with her, and waiting room time is very minimal. Her staff is also fantastic and go above and beyond. I feel like things have changed recently though.
In the last 5 years, her quality of care has SEVERELY dropped. I had a full physical appointment with her recently and while she is quite thorough with the physical aspect, she lacks greatly in the mental health department. During my physical she did not ask me once about my mental health. Considering we have been in a pandemic for the past two years and many people‘s mental health has suffered greatly, you would think that would be one of the first things she would ask. I also explained that I had an accident and was concerned about my legs. She didn’t even comment and ended up forgetting to check them. I’m so disappointed because at one point she was a fantastic doctor, but I really think it’s time for her to retire. She physically does not look well- she’s walking around with a cane and has lost a lot of weight. I also saw her hands shaking like crazy as she was writing in my chart. I just think she’s tired, aged, in pain and mentally checked out. I am now at a point where I’m finding it difficult to even trust her judgment when I have an issue, which tells me it’s time to find a new doctor.
PLUS- Not that this is a “major” problem, but she is still using paper charts, and is probably the ONLY doctor I know that will not convert to electronic charts. Going electronic just makes it so much easier for patients to book appointments, get requisitions, etc. During my physical appointment, she spent 40% of the time looking back through my massive chart to find test results and immunization records (which could easily be brought up with the click of a mouse if my chart were electronic). It really does make a great difference when you convert to electronic.

Bottom line is, if you are a very low maintenance patient and have minimal issues, she would probably be decent- but if you have several health issues or any mental health problems, she is NOT the doctor for you. Truthfully I don’t think she is the doctor for ANYONE anymore. Definitely time to retire.
