Dr. Martino is an extremely busy, yet genuinely interested and compassionate physician when providing care. He has been my family physician for over 19 years! It is strongly advisable to have a clear purpose/focus for your appointment prior to booking and attending. I find that having notes/reminders to myself open for the visit and following them works well to keep us on track. I let him know at the start of the appointment what I need to discuss so that he is well aware and can best budget his time with me. He is fantastic with identifying when an issue is out of his scope or expertise and refers on to those other health care specialists to best support me. If I ask for a referral he does not hesitate to arrange for it to happen as soon as possible. He has always demonstrated an approach that is supportive of my personal health goals, as long as it is safe. No health care professional can know everything or predict a client's next health challenge, but Dr. Martino works diligently to support his clients as best he can.
The staff are respectful and friendly with their interactions, and most often will consult with one another when uncertain of processes or needing support to best meet client's needs (especially if a client requests this be done). Overall, I am pleased with the services I receive, and have my 3 children connected with Dr. Martino and his team as well.
