It was absolutely terrible. No bedside manner at all in telling us someone would die and it was inevitable. Heartless lack of compassion We tried to change oncologist due to his experience I would rather someone with less time in the field but willing to try. He’s complacent in his job. knows he gets paid regardless Just another thought. All his good reviews. Who wrote them ? That would be a good question I don’t know about you but if tomorrow came and I’m trying to beat the odds to live. You sure would want the approach of body and mind to heal not someone telling you the inevitable is you will die. That’s not in our hands or his. Many people have beat those odds maybe he should just give a moment of thought to that.

Dr Chalchal is a gift from God: he is knowledgeable, kind, compassionate, and, on the whole, delightful. I feel that he cares about me and my condition.
His nurse, John, is invaluable; anything that he undertakes is dealt with quickly and efficiently. I often blasts God that I was given this team to deal with my leukaemia!

Absolutely love Dr. Chal Chal. He is kind, caring, compassionate and extremely thorough. John, his nurse, is exactly the same. I feel very fortunate to be in their care!

Dr. Chalchal & John are just excellent. Both of them explain everything so you understand it. I am with them right now & couldn’t wish for a better Oncologist & nurse. I know if you get him for this difficult journey you are very fortunate.

Dr. Chalcal was my father's oncologist through his short battle with Multiple Myeloma. He was rude, changed his story from one visit to the next(we took notes when we were at appointments & he never said the same thing twice and denied that he had said things that 2 of us had documented), & didn't want to answer questions. Came across as too busy to care. His nurse John was much the same. I would strongly urge you to find another oncologist!! And this guy makes over $450,000/year.

Dr. Chal Chal was my mom's oncologist for the most of her 9 year cancer journey. He was a wonderful doctor and tried every treatment current or new to extend my moms life with as much dignity as possible. This is a doctor who deals with sick and gravely ill people on a daily basis. So perhaps he may seem a bit standoffish at times however you have to realize he has to be able to keep a professional distance and not take all this pain, suffering and sorrow home with him at the end of the day. You must realize you are not the only heartbreaking story he has to face. Once he leaves your examination room, there is good chance he is going to a next room to deliver devastating news to another family. Our health system is sadly lacking enough doctors to be able to properly take the time to handle a huge patient load. So there are extenuating circumstances that may mean they have to be quick and to the point during your appointment. Please cut these earth angels some slack as they are trying their best in an overloaded under staffed broken health system.
