Years ago this POS almost killed my wife prescribing, Xanax, remeron, Wellbutrin, buspir...seems like he covered a couple more while he was at it...all within a couple of months. She was always a very productive and successful individual who became addicted to pain meds going through many surgeries over a short period of time for endometriosis. When she came back from rehab she was guided to see a psychiatrist. Unfortunately this guy became her doctor.
I confronted him about my wife's very odd behavior and drinking that had never been a part of her life...addresses physical posturing due to the amount of meds. I explained that the first contraindication for the prescription of Xanax was an addiction history...which unless he completely skipped patient history, he'd have to had known. He only remarked that I seemed to want to be the doctor in this situation. Very snide comment after the detail of changed behavior and physical state I described to him. This guy is a quack in my opinion. My wife would show up for an appointment and walk out with a script for more meds in 5 minutes.
I should have sued this guy. Thank God my wife is healthy now, but, I'm lucky she is alive. Probably wouldn't have been had I not moved her away from his interventions. I work as a medical provider in my field as well...at my much lower level of schooling and the ability to look at indications/contraindications I could have provided a better and far safer treatment plan.

I like Dr. Thompson as my healthcare provider. He is very easy to talk to and he knows his stuff when it comes to medications. I feel like I'm in a good medical place when being treated for my depression by Dr. Thompson.

Dr. Jeffery Thompson misdiagnosed me and manipulated me with different medications. It was a horrible, degradeing experience. Stay as far away from this guy at all costs!

Dr. Thompson and his staff have been very courteous and very helpful to me. Dr. Thompson listens and provides quality guidance both in medications and in suggesting activities or guidelines to help improve my PTSD, Post-Concussive Disorder, and Depression. Three years ago I was being treated by a counsellor for depression...and then on top of that someone I knew tried to murder me. It was after the attack that Dr. Thompson was added to my "Medical Team". As of May 2008, I no longer see the counsellor (I had been going to her for 5 years), but I'm very glad that I know I can call Dr. Thompson's office any time I have a question or a "problem" and that it will be handled swiftly and professionally.
