Excellent physician. Honest and compassionate, up to date in knowledge and procedures. Caring and wants to understand and really know the patient. Desires one to be the best they can be using preventative medicine and common sense.I think he truly cares for me as a person and one certainly senses/feels this.

Doctor Houston has been there to deliver my two children and when I was going through a rough time with post-partum depression he even took the time to come and see me after hours as the nurses would not give me a appointment for weeks. He has helped me through many problems and always took the time to make sure that I knew what I was to look for. Not only has he been there when I was at my worst be he is the type of man that is there for all his patients. He is a one of a kind DR! We all have the most repect for him. Thank you again for helping me through all of this.

He is just the best DR. in the area. We travel a little way to see him. He was great in helping to deliver our son. I hope that he never leaves.

Dr Houston is and always will be my hero. He walked the path of Breast Cancer with me and continues to encourage and support me with each step. Knowing that quitting smoking was a major problem for me, he continued to remind me of the possible health issues involved until I quit on my own. Kudos to him he sure knows his "stuff"!

Dr Houston gave me my anethetic when I had to have surgery, and what a kind, empathetic man he is. He makes sure that everything is looked after and kept asking me many questions making sure that I was comfortable, and all my needs met. and put me in total ease in a very nervous place. When I was back in surgical day care, he asked me was the anethetic okay, what he could of done to make it easier on me, and I said that everything was great, but is the first doctor to ever ask me that, he really takes his job serious and what compassion he has for his patients. I can't rate punctuality, because I don't see him on a regular basis, but if I needed surgery again...would definitely ask for him to put me to sleep. terrific he is. We are very lucky to have him here in Collingwood.

A great and empathic doctor. However, his practice is too big but that is the nature of a small town doctor. A very generous man who will not rush your visit.

My significant is employed in the healthcare field and researched local GPs on my behalf, when my previous GP left the area. In the end, she recommended Dr. Houston and I'm delighted she did. I've found him to be an eager, compassionate and intelligent young practitioner, who has taken a leading role at his local hospital. He relentlessly investigates anything unusual in his diagnoses and delights in seeing his patients prosper when they take a pro-active role in their own health care. He recognizes YOU are in the driver's seat with regard to personal health.
