Call him the drug dealer all he does is prescribe drugs with no follow up or review. Interested in getting $$$. When help needed with claim forms just an extension in his opinion I did not qualify. So ended up going to specialist who hardly ever sees me and no problem. Doctor Shore just interested in money. Large ego little quality.

This doctor is a pompous, ignorant fool! I did not have a GP and the hospital passed me onto him after my so was born. He is archaic in his thoughts and doesn't seem to know much about modern medicine. He is rude, obnoxious and thinks he knows more than you. He is a simple minded GP who is out for a buck. I have a great naturopath and I'm only using this dickhead for requisitions.

Dr. SHORE is very old in his opinions. I have been going to him for years and over the years he has not changed his mindset with the times. He is rude and not willing to refer or see opinions of his patient. His receptionist Tracey however is awesome!

I have just moved to Dr. Shore and I find him to be professional and knowledgeable. If this changes I will post again.

I will never visit Dr Shore again. He is is quick to diagnose on limited information and will happily write you a prescription, in fact he will always send you away with something even if it's not completely necessary. He will not take the necessary time to talk to you and figure out what is going on. Once in my early twenties, I was dealing with some severe lower back and hip pain and went to see him. I had also noticed that my right foot was turning in when I walked and asked if the two things could be related. Here is his response: "Do your testicles hang at the same height?" (to which I replied "no"), then he followed up with "Exactly. It's just the way you're built, stop worrying about it". Unbelievable. My pain was eventually relieved through chiropractic treatments that I sorted out on my own, but Dr Shore just patted me on the back and sent me on his way. I made a point to never see him again after that. Other members of my family continued to see him and he had other similar brilliant pieces of advice for them over the years. They finally stopped going to him as well when they discovered that there was more to health than walking out with a prescription and other doctors out there that would take the time to understand the full picture of what you were dealing with.

As a person, Dr. Shore is one of the nicest individuals you will meet. As a doctor, his practices leave a lot to be desired. He is totally old school. He seldom deals with any issues you may have himself unless they can be addressed easily through prescription (the drug companies must love him). Rather, he sends you to a specialist. Nor is he willing to discuss the advantages of herbal/holistic/natural medicines. He says they do not work. This in itself is not reason to condemn him. My reason for concern is the feeling he breached our doctor/ patient confidentiality which I feel is inexcusable. For confidentially sharing an issue I had several years ago which has long since been resolved, I was paid back with a letter to my life insurance company stating the issue. They took actions and subsequently will no longer insure me, leaving my wife and children unprotected. If you choose to use him, I recommend being tight lipped about anything other than your current problem

I have been a patient of Dr. Shore's for 23 years. He has always taken the time to listen to me and has always found a solution to any issue I have had be it physical, mental or emotional. He makes excellent referrals to specialists when necessary. He is very thorough and tells it like it is. I couldn't ask for a better doctor.

Dr. Shore has been my doctor for 19 years. Although he is rather old-fashioned in some ways, he has always treated me well. I have found that he does not prescribe drugs on a whim, and only prescribes necessary medication. (If you go with a cold, you won't get drugs to treat it.) He firmly insists that I get my yearly physical exams, whether I want them or not. I suspect that some of the complainers have gone in with a self-diagnosis and demanded a prescription. Good luck with that approach! When you see Dr. Steve - he is the boss. If you just want someone to sympathize with you and write a prescription, you've come to the wrong place.
