Dr. Alost was incredibly rude to my mom once he realized she had pushed her surgery dates since she wasn't sure if she wanted to go that way out of fear of going thru major surgery at 77 years old. Once she made up her mind, we went back for him to see her and help her with pain and to let him know she was going to move forward with her surgery. When he came in to the examen room from the start his demeanor was condescending and was NOT at all the friendly doctor we met the 1st time pushing, on his approach the 2nd time he was pressing her on her decision to wait and acting mean! This triggered us to cancel surgery, His clear interest on the financial part was quite evident, acting so bipolar in his bed side manner. We lost total confidence on the 2nd appointment.

Saw review from patient submitted Jan 14th. This person must have some personality disorder as Dr Alost is a very compasionate and caring physician that looks always for the best interest and care for his patients. Please ignore this review.

The worst doctor ever in El Paso. I am extremely glad I was able to report him and get help and leave his evil side. He tortured me since day one. I walked away and never went back. Yuck. Now that I met a professional and understandable orthopedic, I highly recommend others to him.

Dr. Alost has done surgeries on all the men in my family with much success. He's a great sports Doc, other Doctors recommended surgeries for my son when it was unnecessary. Dr Alost does not rush to surgery for a fix all, he tries other methods before surgery. Love That! He's a great match for my Fam....

This doctor spents the time necessary to treat, answer questions, and provide a hug. He is able to send electronic prescriptions to same time for the patients. Great doctor!

I feel as if he is too busy to care for patients pain level especially if they are new and non surgical where he can make the big $$$. I am in pain and doesn't even take the time to talk to me about it. He decides what he will say when he walks in your room and promptly leaves. Answering no questions and providing no relief. I would love to give him a good review but I would also love to be pain free and playing with my kids. I will continue time scream bad reviews until I feel he deserves a good one. Maybe in years past he was great. He's lost sight of what is really important.

Stay away from this doctor! He uses cortizone like it's water! Does not do what he promises pre-op! Cocky and follow up is non-existant,If you happen to educate yourself on your issues he will avoid questions and hide surgical pictures from you.He does not care about physical therapy and his onsite pt is the worst i have ever seen! The Joc Doc ya right, there is not one organized athletic entity who uses him anymore.

HAD INSURANCE NOT COVERED, I WOULD STILL BELIEVE THAT DOCTOR ALOST IS THE BEST IN PATIENT CARE, SKILL, KNOWLEDGE, AND BEING A REAL HUMAN BEING. A VERY RARE QUALITY IN DOCTORS AND SURGEONS.

Best surgeon in El Paso. This man really cares about his many patients. He's also very kind and patient. I've had 3 surgeries with him and wouldn't go to anyone else!
