Dr. Sladden is a wonderful dermatologist who really cares about his patients, and goes above and beyond to help you, whether it's in-person or over the telephone (when it's impossible to get to his office).

I have severe cystic acne and travelled as far as 7 hours away to see a dermatologist. I had tried every diet, acutane and every other topical and oral medication. Other doctors had told me that I would just “grow out of it” (I was in my 20’s) or it would be something I would have to learn to live with forever. Dr Sladden tried an out of the ordinary oral/topical trial on me. He was willing to try something that was different. He fixed my skin and changed my life. I am forever grateful to him.

Dr Sladden performed an excision biopsy on me. He was personable, calm and put me at ease. I felt he truly cared and can highly recommend him, if you are lucky enough to get a dermatological referral to him.

Dr Sladden goes above and beyond what most doctors have done for me. He personally made calls to Pharmacare to expedite my approval for a biologic for persistent psoriasis. Efficient and thorough, with a kind demeanour. Listens well and lets me ask questions. Not great at getting back to me on urgent matters.

for anyone who has come here to check out dr sladden just ignore prior comment, he IS still in kamloops. i live in the cariboo and just got call for the days he comes to uhnbc in prince george, and she said he comes here from his kamloops office. i'm glad the comment from march 29 is untrue as going by the rest of the comments he sounds AMAZING!

Very easy to talk to, did biopsy with very clear explainations. Highly recommend, eases any anxiety instantly with a calm and professional manner.

Dr. Sladden was seeing me here in Kamloops about 4-5 years ago for my rare skin condition. With his treatment my skin started to see improvements, but everything stopped abruptly when he couldn't continue to practice in Kamloops and in BC for legitimate reasons. I can’t say enough about Dr. Sladden. Wonderful Dr and very informative. He doesn't force medications on you and wants you to feel like your completely satisfied with whatever treatment he prescribes. He was the only Dr to diagnose my condition right away for me after I had seen a couple other dermatologists that just didn't want to take the time to help. I would definitely recommend him. He's a great Dr.

I can’t say enough about Dr. Sladden. He is very knowledgeable, creates a comfortable space for patients, provides a clear explanation of the conditions he is treating and references supporting research. Doctor's appointments aren't usually enjoyable, but Dr. Sladden really helps ease the sting and improve the experience. Newfoundland is lucky to have him.
