I was an ER case that escalated to OR. My gallbladder was fully inflamed. I arrived in the ER at 2:30 AM and he was onsite by 7:00 AM. The doctor was there when I needed him. He was very responsive to my pain and explained fully what was going to happen. Due to my pain levels he acted quickly and swiftly. The follow up the next day first by his PA then in person was outstanding. I work in another hospital and believe my care by this doctor was outstanding. I would highly recommend him to any of my friends or family.

I thought I was going to die when I had appendicitis. It was the most painful thing I've ever felt and people have died when their appendix burst. This happened on Christmas Day. Dr. Malik came in on Christmas Day to remove my appendix and treated it as the emergency it was. He provided laproscopic surgery which seems to be healing nicely. The scars are small. I haven't had much pain since about 3 days after the surgery. I am a Registered Nurse so I know a little about healthcare. The surgery staff was kind and warm and made my father and I feel safe and secure with what was going on preop. Thank you Dr. Malik for saving my life on Christmas Day. You area blessing to the world.

Highly recommend this way above-average doc. He's quite intelligent and skilled, yet kind and patient with his patients. Nurses & other docs sing his praises and i see why! He and his PA's couldn't have been better. His team best described my complex situation in calming, reassuring manner while taking time to answer my and family's questions while in hospital as well as in his office pre- and post-op. Surgery went perfectly, in less time than expected, and recovery went smoother than expected. I am so very greatful for the superb care and great attitude of Dr Malik and his staff. I would send my loved ones to his office. I have high IQ and heard from others in the profession than Dr Malik does as well, though he doesn't act like he thinks he is superior to anyone and was very kind to my deaf and handicapped wife to include her in communications and repeat himself to her as many times as she needed. He's worked at Mayo and in other great medical facilities in US before Albuquerque

Dr. Malik and his staff we're both helpfull and knowledgable when discussing and treating my gallblatter. I would recommend him to all my family and friends.
