Dr. Lagerstrom has done all 4 of my open heart surgeries. He's very humble and helpful in teaching about what surgery he is going to perform. He's the best congenital cardio thoracic surgeon!!

Dr. Lagerstrom performed open heart surgery on our 10 year old daughter last year. His bedside manner is incredible; he is phenomenally approachable both for adults and kids. He spent an unheard of amount of time on a phone consult with us initially, then in person with our daughter. Spoke directly to her, addressing everyone's concerns. His scheduling manager worked with us for a quick date due to our insurance ending soon. Came in during pre-op to make everyone feel comfortable, and promptly came to speak with us post-op. Positive experience on every level, with Dr. Lagerstrom and ALL members of his surgical, nursing, and office staff team. If you have to undergo heart surgery, HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Lagerstrom.

Amazing. He is a pediatric heart surgeon and a general heart surgeon. He operated on my mother who was given a tiny chance of survival and was successful. He was upbeat but did not give us false hope. Many surgeons when faced with such poor odds would have been more concerned with their surgery survival scores rather than what the patient needs. I highly recomend him.
