The doctors staff are really nice. The doctor himself is not very helpful or nice.

Excellent physician. Really knows what he is talking about and actually cares about patients. Refreshingly old fashioned values.

Went to Dr. Smash for an incisional hernia (got this on upper stomach from lapro gallbladder 3 yrs prior) Surgery was scheduled, got call the day before that my EKG was abnormal & I needed to get to my cardio ASAP. I was so frightened more now. Ran to my cardio, did EKG, all was fine. Next am arrive at hospital for surgery, my tummy was off a bit the nite before but figured my nerves & the cardio scare. Had vitals done, was running a fever, felt fine. So the nurse called the doctor. He wanted to talk to me-he YELLED at me for coming to the ER w/fever that he could not do surgery! I was in tears. Nurses were like he has no bedside manner & should NOT talk to you that way. So rescheduled surgery-no fever. First visit after surgery he said no leave staples on a couple more days, come back Friday. Go back Friday, nobody is at the office. I called #'s, he show's up, he don't have the key's. He calls the office girl, she dont answer. So he goes in the building to the office upstairs to see if there is an extra key with them, there is not. I said well we will meet you at the hospital, he says no you will have to wait..a few dif excuses. He said well we can go up to the office upstairs and I can take them out there. I was hesitant but they were in for too long at this point. (My family was with me). So I reluctantly did. I prob should not have. I now have a approx 6inch scar from a maybe 2 inch scar smack in the middle of my tummy. Not such a great experience for me.

Good doctor. Really honed in on what was bothering me. Ran blooddwork none of my other doctor's thought of, and figured out what was wrong with me. Staff is nice. Office is clean, nothing fancy. But Dr. Shamash really knows what he is doing.
