I have nothing but good things to say. From my surgery to my follow up appointment Dr.Woo has been so amazing and great. I truly appreciate everything you have done for me.

Worst bedside manner, dismissive of patient comments, asks nothing about medical history, dismisses any complaints and is eager to tell you that your issues aren’t his, and to see someone else but offers no direction. Listened to him berate an old woman for 30 minute who had had extensive surgery and was having pain and was asking to have some hardware removed from her spine as the fusing had healed but some of the screws were causing her pain. He basically told her that it was likely nothing had nothing to do with her hardware and that she might just want to “walk it off”. Avoid this guy, he is probably only useful as a surgeon in emergency situations perhaps )trauma surgery) but clearly has no ability to do anything else.

Dr. Woo was extremely helpful. His perspective is.clear. I’m grateful for the time he took to explain the long term prognosis. Don’t be too quick to judge his expertise.

Dr. Woo is an absolute terrible doctor, after I had back surgery he went MIA, the nurses couldn’t find him for 3 days. I was supposed to be out in 2-3 days I was there for almost 2 weeks before I signed myself out.
Ever since it has been torture, I have ZERO quality of life, excruciating pain and all I get is “give it more time”
I refuse to go to this doctor one more time. Disgusting bedside manner, zero care for the patient. I honestly feel he should be reported.

Gaslighting at its finest. I have never been to Doctor who majored in Gaslighting. Condescending, arrogant, and blatantly lied to me. I attended the office for knee pain, previous X-rays show zero cartilage. Previous specialists in BC observed legitimate deterioration, and offered injections. Miraculously upon this visit the cartilage appeared for for Dr Woo’s eyes only. (Negating the fact that the current X-ray report right in front of his face on his clip board noted the cartilage issue.) Dr Woo claimed he doesn’t do injections, however the patient in the other room received an injection while I listened to his painful experience. When I questioned Dr Woo about the patient in the next room he replied “oh yes that was a KNEE injection though. You don’t need this” So he doesn’t do injections, but he does, but he doesn’t. How this guy manages to be active is baffling. Legitimate X-ray proof, previous treatment based on same X-ray proof and this condescending arrogant gaslighting expert says “just because you have pain in your knee, it doesn’t mean it’s coming from the knee. I don’t see anything that indicates you have knee pain at all” except the x-ray report, and previous history but he stated “I wasn’t there for that” so it’s not real then? Wow! Eff this guy.

Arrogant! Minimized my pain, told me yes some people do jump off bridges because of pain. I waited almost 2 years to see him only to be told after 25 yes of suffering that it isn’t bad enough. Empathy is not part of who he is. Feel sorry for the residents who learn under his arrogant, ignorant attitude. Did not try to know my pain nor did he examine me. Worst experience ever with a specialist.

I have never been treated so disrespectfully by any physician. Avoid him if possible.
