I owe my mobility to this doctor. He went the extra mile to convince me I needed surgery after an automobile accident, after I refused to sign the authorization for surgery.

I saw Dr Serink over a period of several years for reoccurent Moreton's neuroma. I found him to be totally competent, engaging on many issues and always accurate in his diagnosis and prognosis. Thanks to him, I have been able to walk half-marathons, ski, and hike the mountains in BC. I cannot speak highly enough about him.

I had arthroscopic knee surgery to remove loose ligament fragments. Although Dr Serink is very swift with his answers (didn't really listen to my story during evaluation), without much guidance on how to care for injury before surgery), I was booked relatively quick, he had good mannerisms before the surgery, and things feel good today (had the surgery yesterday). I had my doubts based on some comments I had read, but must say, I do feel comfortable about him doing the surgery now.

I have had shoulder surgery twice with Dr. Serink. Once was in the rt. then the lt shoulder. When I had the first surgery, he mad a comment to me that I would probably had to have it on the the other shoulder because of calcium disposit. Sure enough I did. After the first operation, there were complications, not because of Dr. Serink, but because of an alergy to the medication. When I went to for surgery in the other shoulder, Dr. Serink changed the medication and I had no problems at all. I felt so great, I gave him a bottle of wine. Way to go Dr. Serink. You can not please everyone, and sometimes people don't like what you have to say. They can just "suck it up". As far as the receptionist, I thought that she was really nice. I wished that I had given her a bottle of wine also.

Sorry some of you have had personality issues but ive had him scope my knee 3 times. I went back to the states for work and my physio said that i was lucky cause whoever repaired my knees did a clean job. Im still doing extreme sports pain free and no post surgery arthritis. No one likes bad news but at least he tells you where you stand, respect that..!!! Im not there for pillow talk, i just want a doc that gets the job done right. Many thanks

Incredibly unprofessional. Asked me questions then interrupted me numerous times. Told me that the surgery to fix my ankle was not done. Had no idea of new procedures. A dinosaur of a doctor with ill manners. Rude and not helpful.

One of the most unreliable, rushed doctors I have come across. Broke my ankle and in turn it required surgery. Dr. Serink did not make any time to provide an explanation as to what had happened to me. Instead, he proceeded to inform me that my bones were too soft for my age and that it might cause problems further on in life. No bedside manners. Lastly, his secretary/receptionist was the epidemy of a horribly abrasive, ill-mannered individual who seems to find it pleasant to be cheeky and demeaning to those in pain.
