I found no problem with Dr. Shatshat. I found her easy to talk to and very informative. She made sure I understood everything she told me. I really liked her

I was a bit nervous from reading some of the bad reviews but my fears were unfounded. Dr. Shatshat is very no nonsense. Very to the point. I have some medial background so it may have been easier for me to as relevant questions and to understand my issues. Dr. Shatshat was waiting for me at the front when I arrived as I was a bit lost. Everything went well and I got a lot of quesions answered. Pleased at how my appointment went.

I have been a patient of Dr. Shatshat's for years now. She is a no nonsense kind of person but very compassionate and dedicated. I get the feeling she has seen alot of patients who suffer tremendously so she manages to remain calm when patients are suffering. This does not mean she doesn't empathize or care. I have the greatest respect for Dr. Shatshat.

Dr. Shatshat literally sat there twirling her thumbs while her intern did all the work. She sat there like she wasn’t paying attention and every now and then would chime in. I was then scheduled for a bone scan and more blood work. The bone scan NEVER happened and the only reason the bloodwork did is because I went myself. Her staff at the front counter NEVER return calls!!! I then got a letter in the mail booking a phone consultation and NEVER got a call!!!! Dr. Shatshat and her practice are a total joke!!! Don’t waste your time, get referred to ANYONE else!!!

I was not happy with my appointment with Dr. Shatshat. She seemed very preoccupied the whole time and I didn’t feel she took my pain seriously. Hard to get an answer to any questions. She dismissed all of the symptoms I asked about. So disappointing when it’s difficult to get a rheumatological appointment!

From reading these reviews I would agree that Dr. Shatshat must treat patients differently. She had absolutely zero compassion for my pain or interest in helping me. She seemed in a bad mood about something and I felt like she just brushed me off without wanting to understand anything about my condition or offer any help or suggestions. I asked my GP to refer me to someone else and my GP agreed. I would never see Dr. Shatshat again.

I found her to be very pleasant and did a thorough history and exam. Although my particular situation doesn’t require followup, she gave me helpful suggestions for the future. I didn’t feel rushed or disregarded. She did a thorough physical exam as well. Reception staff very friendly - Kelly

The third comment (below) really resonated with me. I didn’t find Dr. Shatshat pleasant at all but quite the contrary. She brought up my age and smiled telling me that I was older than her. Really??!! As if this had anything to do with why I was there. She did a very brief examination, didn’t order any tests and gave a diagnosis that my doctor later said to just ignore.
My feeling from reading these reviews is that Dr. Shatshat treats different patients differently. I got absolutely no help from her and would never return. The whole appointment was a complete waste of time and worse a huge disappointment!
