pleasant young man; probably still at St. Michaels for aiding in medical mal practise cover ups; colon exam consisted of "is there a history of colon cancer in your family?" n.b. at Toronto Western Hopital they always do a physical exam of the colon on yearly physicals; 4 vistis with him while under the supervision Dr. Thea Marie Weisdorf were removed from my medical file and never got to the Superior Court of Ontario; Terry L. He is right on the money,knowledgable,helpful,willing,polite,and i wish i had him all my life. Over all a great doctor,and i am grateful that I am under his care now.

I have had this doctor for almost a decade. He is one of the few doctors to work with Transgender people. And while I am grateful that he would work with me I find him to be very disconnected, unsympathetic and judgmental. I feel I am not getting the support I needed to correct my other health issues and when I consult with other health practitioners they are also quite shocked by his unwillingness to support and refer. I would change my family doctor in a heartbeat but because of my condition it will take longer than that but I am still in the process of doing so. If you are transgender I recommend you go to the Sherbourne Health Centre. The nursing staff at St. Michael's Clinic are great but Dr. Handford although educated, is as cold as ice and not supportive at all, at least from my experience.

Dr. Handford is the best doctor I can ask for. He has been taking care of my wife and myself for years. We are very happy with all the treatements and services we got from him. He is knowlegeable, nice and patient, always thinking for his patients.

Dr. Handford is the worst family doctor I have ever had. I found him very unsympathtic< and worried more about his lunch than his patients. I am actually quite shocked his rating is this high> I found my experiances with him over the years to be very unpleasant,and judgemental. Believe me if u have tattoos and body peircings this guy isn't right for you. I know from personal insight. If you are not a pretty blond houswife good luck getting propr treatment. If you are in anyway "differant" he automatically assumes you are there to get whatever drugs you can to of course abuse. He seems to be more concerned with covering his ass then giving legitamite help to people. I know that I am not the only patient that feels this way, and I am certain Im not the only one to have walked out of his care.Im lucky to have found a new GP that looks at x-rays, runs proper tests, andlistens to what I have to say.I would nevver recomend Dr. Handford to anyone who has any serious medical condition.

Dr Handford is very thorough and you can tell he is listening to your problems and coming us with a solution in his head. I've had several Doctor's in the past but feel Dr Handford goes the extra mile for his patients. I always feel comfortable telling him about any medical issues I have and I know he'll do everything in his power to help. Excellent!

he saved my life. he is amazing.I wish for everyone to have a physician as precise, effective and empathetic as he is. But he is kind of grouchy. Who cares though, he rocks.

Excelent doctor. he will spend as much time with you as you need. He will investagate what ails you and help improve any dicomfort that you have. He is great at knowing you when you go into his office and always follows up on what your last visit was.

He does not realize the seriousness of situations. He is very much into effecting appointments for appointments sake. He lies. He likes to refer you to 'a friend's' practice. He is very unsure of himself.
