Dr. Petrasek is an extraordinarily caring, kind, and competent surgeon who goes above and beyond in providing excellent care to his patients. We are very fortunate to have him here in Peterborough.

Staff was pleasant and accommodated my needs and schedule as much as possible. Dr Petrasek was knowledgeable and genuinely cared about my well-being. A few days after surgery he called me at home to see how I was doing. Amazing! I'm very happy and pleased with my experience ☺.

He is an extremely competent surgeon, follows up daily while in hospital and phones results from other tests and procedures from other specialists while recovering at home. In addition, to thoroughly explaining the surgery (which in my case was an emergency) he also reviewed risks and complications during his initial assessment His office staff are prompt, pleasant and professional. Overall, an exemplary patient experience despite all of the challenges of working in Ontario’s overcrowded and underfunded tertiary care system.
