Dr. Ho was informative, took time to explain all options and did more than just tell me what I wanted to hear. He was direct and clear in all explanations. He solved problems that other doctors let linger for years without solution. I can only give him the highest rating!

What makes Dr, Ho, in my opinion, nothing less than an extremely poor physician is his surprisingly poor advice to me about a course of action to take after an MRI he ordered uncovered a lesion on my lower brain. His advice was that it was probably nothing to worry about and that I should simply do nothing for a year and then, at that time, have another MRI. He DID NOT suggest that I see a neurologist. He thought I should just wait. For a year. My primary physician called me immediately after getting Dr. Ho’s written recommendation and advised me, in no uncertain terms, that Dr. Ho’s advice was not worthy of consideration. On her advice I saw a neurologist immediately. Long story short, the lesion is a tumor. It is almost certainly benign and seems to pose no threat at this time. But, had it been a fast growing tumor – benign or otherwise – waiting a year would almost certainly have had dire consequences.

Dr. Ho operated on my son for excessive nose bleeds. He was sent home the same day and we had to return to emergency because he was bleeding excessively and had not stopped. We sat in the emgency room being seen by several people who did not know what to do. When Dr. Ho was paged he did not respond by coming to see the patient he had operated on hours before. Instead a med vac dr. came in an gave him a pain killer and someone else packed his nose. He was admitted and we finally saw Dr. Ho the next morning who appeared very unsympathetic and offered no reason for the excessive bleeding that occured. Shame on us because we used the same Dr. for my husband surgery and He ended up back at the hospital after returning to work spitting out blood with blood coming from his eyes. Again we sat there not seeing the physican who did the operation. He was also admitted and ended up having more surgery to stop the bleeding but not before some really scary moments.
