I have been seeing Dr Burgess for 18 years. Cares about comfort and pain free visits. I would recommend to all friends and have done so. I would follow hom where ever he moves to. He is the best.

Dr. Burgess is a great dentist. Both him and his staff are friendly and very knowledgable. He is very gentle and explains everything that he is doing. I would and have recommended him to others.

Dr. Darryl is a wonderful dentist. You can tell his number one concern is his patients and not any financial gain. He is always making his patients feel at ease and joking around with his staff in a friendly manner. I always feel completely comfortable in the chair while he is doing my treatment. He is the first doctor I can say injected freezing without any feeling during! I see his hygienist Debbie and she is always wonderful and makes conversation with me about things we discussed at my appointments prior. I would recommend Dr. Darryl to anyone who asked.

The doctor placed a crown over a cracked tooth. This resulted in a tooth extraction, and a tooth implant because of pain when chewing. I guess it never occurred to the dentist that filling the crack first would have made the structure strong, and the crown stable for the long term. On another occasion, I had developed an abscessed tooth. Dr. Burgess prescribed an antibiotic he described as being the "best for the job". The only problem was that the antibiotic did not work at all. I was then referred to a local clinic for IV antibiotics. The doctors refused to do the IV, and chose to lance the abscess. This was very painful and ineffective, because the abscess returned. Subsequently, I selected an excellent dental surgeon who removed several abscesses during a long and costly surgical procedure. A dental surgeon told me that penicillin V is the best for treating an abscess in most people. I was placed on penicillin before the surgery, and the abscess was controlled.

Had seen another dentist and was told I would need to see a specialist to get a root canal done. Was referred to Dr. Burgess by a friend, and was very happy to hear I wouldn't need to see a specialist (more money!). Dr. Burgess performed the root canal and have not had any issues with the tooth. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend Dr. Burgess to others.

I've had a history of passing out in the destist's chair following a couple of very cruel dentists and spent years having to be put to sleep. One day I had a severe toothache so walked across the street to see Dr. Burgess. He was extremely gentle and I have been going to him eversince...eventhough I lived on Vancouver Island for 4 years, I still came to Calgary to see him when I was in town. I've never had to wait for an appt. and the staff are great. I enjoy their great humour as well. It makes it for a pleasant experience every time. Debbie

I have been seeing Dr Burgess for about 12 years and I've had a lot of work down (filing and caps etc). His staff is great and he is a fantastic dentist, pain free, fast and efficient.

I saw Dr. Burgess for many years. Throughout that time I was referred to specialists who did not do quality work (even worked on the wrong tooth), labs that made defective crowns, and almost lost a tooth from a drill bit that broke off during a root canal. Fortunately another specialist was able to remove it. I suffered many unnecessary appointments. He used a lot of temporary fixes. I am now undergoing extensive treatment by another dentist to rebuild implant crowns, regular crowns and now need another new root canal and crown to improve my bite and alleviate pain as one side of my jaw was totally uneven. The quality of workmanship and care is just not there. I couldn't believe how extensive my new dentist is with measuring gum tissue, and charting each tooth to monitor for future. Dr. Burgess never did any of that.

The quality of care is excellent - never a problem with any work done, and they take extraordinary care to minimize pain. I've never had to wait more than 5 min past an appt time in 10 years. Everyone is exceptionally friendly and professional. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Just fantastic. Have been going to Dr. Burgess since he opened his practice. Hygenists are also superb. Have NEVER had a negative experience in all the years I've been going to him.
