The greatest doctor i have ever seen. Kind and cares very much for his patients. Funny and explains everything to you. Dr. Looney saved my life, and i am very thankful for him. Great doctor!

Dr. Looney is very knowledgeable and thorough. If/when needed, he consults with his collegues to get their thoughts and input on what would be the best treatment options for you. He always puts a smile on my face everytime I see him. I will never forget when he first introduced himself to me and my family he said.."I am Dr. Looney and yes, just like my name says I am looney!!" Lol!!!

He doesn't listen to the patient(s) and is quick to judge (make assumptions). This in my case has caused a couple misdiagnoses and wasted at least a year of my time for un-needed doctors visits. Dr. Looney also tends to go on rants about information that has nothing to do with your visit.

Based on several direct experiences we've had, he seems very moody and changes from one minute to the next. Irritable, annoyed, and overwhelmed by nformation offered by patients. Poor manners and communication skills. Gets up and leaves room for long periods of time without excusing himself or explaining why. Takes forever to get an appointment and then he runs very late. Is easily frustrated and very impatient when a patient tries to explain something. Makes assumptions without listening and then goes off on rants that were irrelevant to the purpose of visit or questions posed. Is quick to become defensive and talk about why he shouldn't be expected to help and seesm offended that the patient was even present.

I see many doctors and Dr Looney by far is my favorite. He is extremely knowledgable and never seems rushed in any way. He is an immunologist, yet I feel he helps with my general health more than my General Practitioner. Has a wonderful demeanor and sense of humor. I could hang with this guy. His staff is exceptional, commonly introducing themselves by name when greeting you. It's an appreciated touch.
