It seems everything I went in for all he wanted to do was root canal and crowns, he burned through all my coverage from work in no time yet still wanted me coming in constantly for expensive treatments. This gave me a very negative impression of dentists and I now have a new dentist trying to make things right on all fronts.

Dr. Goldstein lied about me having cavities and then proceeded to treat me rudely after I had to cancel an appointment somewhat last minute due to me having a severe lung infection. This dentist tries to take money from his patients doing procedures that they don't even need and he also answers the reception phone... how weird is that?! Lastly, when you go into his office there are never any other patients waiting; I found this very odd. I would stay away from him if I were you and he also charges a lot more than other dentists.

The bad review below is obviously bogus. Dr Goldstein is an excellent dentist. Very very satisfied with his work. He is the best dentist I’ve had in my 30+ yrs in Calgary. Professional in every way, excellent dentistry, and very reasonable. No pressure, and all options are presented clearly. Dr. Goldstein will be our family dentist until he retires.

Dr. Dan Goldstein is the only dentist I trust my teeth to. We have been fortunate to have him as our family dentist for 3 generations. His combination of skill, knowledge and compassion are extraordinary. He is able to perform major dental work with minimal discomfort. I used to get anxiety attacks before going to the dentist. When I am going to see Dr. Goldstein I sleep soundly the night before because I know I am in good hands.

I lost two teeth because of his treatment therefore don’t waste your money with his bad treatment. I would not return. I hade to redo every single treatment that had been done by him with another (professional) dentist.

It was immediately clear to me that I was in good hands and that Dr. Goldstein was concerned with all aspects of my oral health - not just glibly looking for cavities. I waited until my mid-twenties to remove my wisdom teeth (my last dentist never spoke with me about the advantages of having them out earlier). They were impacted, the roots were close to a nerve, and I was very anxious. I had many friends that were terribly swollen after they took out their wisdom teeth, and knew others that left with permanent nerve damage/numbness. He arranged for a dental CT scan to ensure that the procedure could be done without risking nerve damage;an incredible relief for me. It took less than an hour for him to remove four impacted wisdom teeth, and I felt comfortable and relaxed the entire time. I was barely swollen at all, and was even able to go out for dinner the following day. I cannot recommend Dr. Goldstein enough, he was incredibly thorough, attentive, caring, and clearly talented.

Dr. Dan Goldstein is the very best dentist that I have ever had! He always puts the health of the tooth/teeth first, which in my opinion ranks him in the very top of his field. His work is absolutely impeccable and I sincerely whole heartedly recommend him.

I was referred to Dr. Goldstein by my periodontist, who is repairing really bad dental work from another bad dentist. Dr. Goldstein is providing the crowns for my implants. A couple of weeks ago I broke one of my few remaining useable teeth and was amazed at how quickly Dr. Goldstein's staff was able to accommodate me. They didn't want me to have to wait until after the long weekend. This was the first dental work I have had done in ten years without sedation due to such horrible previous experiences. It was also the most pleasant dental experience I have ever had. He prepped two teeth for crowns, without having to do root canals and the crowns are beautiful. I had absolutely no discomfort during or after the procedure and my temporary crowns were comfortable and functional until they were replaced with the permanents. I am very grateful to have Dr. Goldstein as my dentist.
