I just had a saline ultrasound and Dr. Novak was very polite. I was thankful they were able to fit me in. We had a huge snowstorm and I couldn’t make my appointment on time and they still managed to fit me in which I was grateful for. So thank you for that.

I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Novak, my only conflicts with him have been that he is always booked in his calendar because he is so highly sought out and the fact that he has a lot of random time frames he is out of office and then i have to see his associate doctor whom i dont care for at all.

I did not feel comfortable with this doctor, he seemed pretty rude. I’m glad he was not my doctor during my delivery.

Have seen Dr. Novak a handful of times to treat my endometriosis. When all other treatment options had been exhausted Iwas left with needing a hysterectomy. Dr.Novak is a fantastic doctor. Very polite , open minded, and always makes sure your questions and concerns are addressed and you feel at ease. Although it was a complicated surgery everything went well and all thanks to Dr. Novak. I have referred friends and co workers to him as well and they have all had nothing but kind things to say about him. I love that we have someone like Dr.Novak who listens to his patients and respects their dears , concerns , and input on their own health care. The office staff is amazing. Melanie was there for me anytime I had a question or concern prior to my surgery. Love this Dr. and staff.

I was informed that I had a polyp in my uterus in thunder bay Port Arthur clinic, however I had gotten a new Fertility doctor specifically that resides out of town so she had sent me to see doctor novak Here in tbay in order to double check as she is my new doctor in toronto . ..In any case I went into see doctor novak to get this double checked on for my new doctor's assurity . Doctor Novak was very interuptive and hardly let me get a word in. He then looked me over and told me it was a fibroid , when the previous doctor had told me it was a polyp. OK so what is it then make up your mind is it a polyp or a fibroid that has to be removed because it seems neither of the doctors in thunder bay know and I have to send this information over to my Fertility doctor in Toronto before it can be removed . He then insisted it was a fibroid when I was told it was a polyp before and wasn't very reassuring. Along with being interruptive and in a rush he never offered another solution when the patient ( me was being told two different things by apparent specialists). I wouldn't reccomend him as he doesn't care to answer your questions and just wants to scuffle you off and say whatever speel he needs to without having you say a word. Part of being a doctor is being helpful respectful and reassuring when patients have concerns . He did neither one of those things.

Dr Novak has been my gyne MD for years.
I am recovering from a hysterectomy now.
He is an amazing man & I am so grateful for him. I feel actually almost sad that is seems this is the end of my relationship w him as a patient. I highly recommend him for many gyne concerns as he has been my specialist for several of these issues.
Polite, knowledgeable, empathetic & prompt.

Dr. Novak was nice and comforting and my first few appointments. The wait time is ridiculous however, be prepared for half an hour wait times. The assistant was incredibly nice, held my hand when I had no support during a procedure. Unfortunately though, I was not contacted after my IUD insertion for two years and had to have another referral made.

Very professional and fast service. Very knowledgable about IUD's and birth control options.
Consultation and insertion took only about 20 minutes but I left feeling very educated and happy with the service.

I would say he is very fast and if you need someone to walk you through procedures step by step he may not be the right physician for you.

Overall, very happy!!
