I have seen Dr. Novak a number of times and have since asked my Family Physician for a referral to a different doctor because this one never listened to me. He cut me off. He was dismissive and left me feeling like I was an inconvenience because I asked a question about the medication he prescribed me "just take it before bed then" was my response as he left the room. He had a student doctor with him at the time and when we were alone I told him that when he is practicing on his own to at least listen to his patients. P.S. the doctor I have now is amazing!

Dr. Novak contributed to ptsd I'm experiencing after a traumatic birth. At one point he looked at me and said "you don't look like your in pain" when I had requested extra pain medication list cesarean.

I have never felt so unheard. I have a condition I was diagnosed with 14 years ago and started seeing this Dr and everything I said was dismissed as it couldn't be possible or that just never happens. Yet, all tests proved it is possible and it does. Then, I was told that there was no possible way a procedure would cause uncontrolled bleeding and it did. Emergency intervention was to be set up and was not. There is no accountability and a serious lack of patient care. Shocked he has good reviews.

Excellent with everything. Made me feel comfortable. Answered any questions. Made me feel safe. Always made sure my baby was ok. Unlike doctor FAIRLY who almost killed me.

He did an ECV for me in 2017 because my baby was breech. He did a great job & was successful in flipping the baby to head down. I was so grateful to avoid a scheduled C section and I ended up being able to deliver the baby naturally (out of the hospital too with a midwife!). He’s awesome..if you need an ECV go see him!!

Absolutely one of the BEAT OB I have interacted with. He made me feel happy and safe during my first labour. Encouraging and kindness went a long way for this scared momma to be. More OB should take a page out of this doctor ‘s book. Just wonderful!

I have been seeing Dr Novak off and on for years. His has great bed side manner and very knowledgeable. He is gentle and understanding. I felt at ease knowing he was my surgeon.
Melanie his assistant is amazing. She will always be there to support you and make you feel as comfortable as possible. I was so thank you to have her involved in my care. She definitely made everything easier. She is kind hearted and I was very thankful for both of them!

At times you may have to wait but know that this team is worth the wait and they do not rush you.
We never know what others are going through and at times they may need a bit more time.

Dr. Novak is an amazing OB/GYNE. He delivered my second child in Brockville. His secretary Charlene was amazing too! I wish he was still in Brockville.

Bring g you lunch. You can be guaranteed to wait over an hour past your apt time. He may be knowledgeable but I find his lack of regard for time incredibly disrespectful!! I can’t understand how one is always so lae.

He showed such compassion and gentleness when examining me and doing a sonohysterogram. He was very knowledgeable and showed immense compassion for my symptoms. I left feeling validated and informed.
