Dr. Behse always listened to my concerns, also explained how ones body reacts as we age.
I was always to make an appointment if need be. The clinic always assisted me to see another if my doctor was off.

He abruptly retired, leaving patients without care.
His receptionist is one of the worst I have ever dealt with. Gatekeeping isn’t a strong enough word to describe her.

Loved Joe as a doctor and a great man. He will be dearly missed. My entire family saw him. Really sad to se him go.

My husband and i saw Dr Behse at a walk in clinic. He was friendly and unhurried. He examined my husband thoroughly and came to the conclusion that the emergency department was required. He provided us with a summary of the issues to give to the staff in emergency and his private phone number. He asked us to call him and let him know how my husband was. I called Dr Behse in the evening and updated him on the events in Emergency. He seemed very pleased to have received the call. I would gladly see Dr Behse again.
He was friendly

I've seen Dr. Behse for years - he's a great guy but has a tendency to undermine the (perceived) seriousness of what's going on. Once you advocate for yourself, he will listen and do what needs to be done, but he typically doesn't jump to a medical diagnosis or conclusion right away unless you push the issue. He definitely has a more life-based, holistic approach as in "yes you're going to be in pain, you're getting older" or "i can understand why you're depressed, things are depressing lately" rather than just prescribing something off the hop. This can be helpful and not so helpful depending on the situation. Unfortunately his receptionist is incredibly rude, disinterested and a real first rate you-know-what.

An ignorant doctor who doesn't let his patients talk. Can never get a word in without feeling interrupted. Wish I could find someone new to visit.

Dr. Behse has been our family doc for many years and we have always been confident with his medical experience. He and his receptionist Jolyn really got to know us over the years and my kids really like going there. They moved the office a couple of years ago and we like having the nurses and other services as an option if Dr. Behse is away.

Dr. Behse has been my doctor since I was a child. Great doctor. Worst receptionist very rude and condescending. I wish I could find a new practice just because of her.
