DR Johnson was nice enough but didn’t seem overly interested in doing a small cosmetic surgery having some benign lumps removed. I feel like he didn’t take his time to be careful leaving my with raised scars. I had an other doctor in Halifax perform the same procedure and the result looked much better.

Kevin did a bad surgery on my leg and then on a follow up very aggressively handled it causing further complications that i had to have fixed by another doctor. Be very wary when letting him handle you in sensitive areas.

Great doctor - caring and straight forward - had hernia surgery without complications - 2 months later absolutely no pain or swelling. Can't say enough good things about staff at Bridgewater hospital. No reflection on the doctor but problems with urinary restriction and constipation in the week after surgery - go easy on pain killers which contribute to these problems.

Extremely good surgeon. Knowledgable, respectful, explains without talking down to patient. I've seen him for two issues, my wife for one. I highly recommend him.

I've been a patient of Dr. Johnson's for several years and I feel very confident in his abilities, and would not hesitate to recommend Dr. J to a friend or family member. He is a good communicator, to the point, explaining procedures thoroughly, injecting the occasional bit of humour, when appropriate.

He was smug, distracted and condescending. His care for my father was appalling. He was so anxious to discharge him (when even the nurses worried it was too soon). He sent him home despite breathing issues, choking issues, etc. He has no business calling himself a surgeon.

In other words, I concur wholeheartedly with the January/2017 poster's comments.

Kevin Johnson- I refuse to put Dr. in front of his name. Hernia repair resulted in second operation the following day because he "nicked my bowel" This stuff should not happen as often as it does! Spent 19 days in SSRH with tubes and hoses sticking out of me everywhere. %6 days to heal after I was released from the hospital. The nurses were angels on 3rd floor @SSRH and VON after I returned home. The morning of my surgery I felt uneasy-more uneasy than what would have been normal - trust your gut-I should have gathered my belongings and left before I even got registered. Never again. Hernia is still there and worse than before.
